Chapter 46

{Chris's POV, Halloween} 

When I woke up Shelly was laying on her side, I slid up behind her I draped my arm across her and kissed the tip of her shoulder. Shelly was starting to stir she stretched and rolled over facing me she looked at me and smiled. 

"Baby, I didn't mean to wake you up go back to sleep." 

"It's okay," 

I rolled onto my back Shelly snuggled up beside me I wrapped my arm around her, she laid her head on my chest. I kissed Shelly's forehead and lightly rubbed her back. 

"Shelly?" I asked. 

"Yeah," Shelly answered. 

"How do you feel about one day giving Ronnie a sibling?" 

"I would love to give Ronnie a sibling." 

Shelly and I heard Ronnie knocking on our bedroom door. 

"Daddy can I come in with you and mommy?" Ronnie called. 

"You can come in sweetheart." I answered. 

Ronnie opened the bedroom door she came into the room and walked over to the bed Ronnie climbed up on the bed she snuggled up on my right side. I wrapped my arm around Ronnie, she laid her head on my chest. Ronnie grabbed the DirecTV remote off the bedside table and turned on the TV the three of us laid in bed and watched cartoons. Ronnie climbed off the bed and left the room Shelly lifted her head from my chest and kissed me, I playfully nipped her bottom lip. 

"We should head downstairs for breakfast." 

"I agree," 

Shelly and I climbed out of bed we left our room and walked downstairs Shelly and I entered the kitchen I walked over to the counter and turned on the coffee pot. 

"Ronnie what would you like for breakfast?" I asked. 

"I don't know what I want for breakfast." Ronnie said. 

Ronnie left the kitchen Shelly and I made ourselves a bowl of cereal we sat down at the table and ate breakfast. After breakfast I walked upstairs and walked up the hall to mine and Shelly's room I walked into the room and got dressed. I headed for the bathroom when I came out of the bathroom, I made the bed Shelly came into the room. 

"Babe, Ronnie is in the kitchen eating a bowl of cereal." 

"That's fine I'm going to pack Ronnie's overnight bag for when she spends the night at Kuza and Hilary's tonight after we go trick-or-treating." 

"Has Ronnie ever been away from you before?" Shelly asked curiously. 

"Yeah, Ronnie has stayed the week-end with my sister Jen." I replied. 

"Who are you dressing as tonight?" 

"Why?" 

"I was wondering if you would like to dress as Jack Skellington because I am dressing as Sally." She smiled. 

"I'll dress as Jack Skellington," I smirked. 

I left the mine and Shelly's room and walked down the hall to Ronnie's room I entered her room I grabbed Ronnie's overnight bag and packed it. 

"Daddy where are you?" 

"I'm in your bedroom packing your overnight bag for tonight." 

Ronnie came into the room she walked over to her bed and sat down I sat down beside her she crawled onto my lap and hugged me. I returned her hug and kissed Ronnie's cheek she laid her head on my shoulder.
