Chapter 19

{Chris's POV} 

I felt someone nudging me I woke up and saw Ronnie standing near the bed.

"What's the matter sweetheart?"

"I got sick in the potty in my bathroom."

"Would you like to climb in bed with your mom and me?" I asked. 

"Yes." Ronnie said. 

I scooted over in bed and pulled the covers back Ronnie climbed into bed and snuggled with me I kissed her forehead we fell back to sleep. When I woke back up Ronnie was gone, I sat up in bed and noticed Gaia wasn't in bed either I heard the toilet flush and saw Gaia and Ronnie come out of the bathroom they climbed back into bed. 

"Babe, our little angel is sick."

"I know Ronnie woke me up this morning and told me that she got sick in the toilet in her bathroom." 

I laid back down in bed Ronnie climbed on top of me and laid her head on my chest I kissed her forehead. 

"Daddy, can we go downstairs?" Ronnie asked. 

"Yeah, we can go downstairs." I replied. 

Ronnie crawled off me and climbed off the bed she left the bedroom I got up out of bed and got dressed I put on a t-shirt and basketball pants I walked into the bathroom. When I came out of the bathroom, I left the bedroom and walked downstairs I walked into the kitchen Ronnie was sitting at the table. 

"Daddy, can I please have some toasts?" 

"Sure sweetie,"

I put Ronnie two pieces of bread in the toaster and pushed the leaver down she got up from the table and walked over to me I bent down and picked her up Ronnie laid her head on my shoulder. 

"I don't feel good." She mumbled. 

"I know you don't I think you might have a stomach bug." I said, gently rubbing her back. 

I put Ronnie down she sat down at the table when her toast was ready, I took her toast out of the toaster and sat it on a plate I sat Ronnie's plate in front of her. 

"Babe, you could have put a little bit of jelly on her toast." 

"I was afraid it would have upset her stomach." 

Ronnie handed her plate to Gaia, she put jelly on her toast and handed Ronnie back her plate. 

"What would you like to drink?" I asked. 

"Can I please have some hot tea?" Ronnie said, taking a bite of her toast. 

"Yeah, but you'll have to drink your tea without milk." 

"I don't mind," 

I walked over to the stove and grabbed the tea pot I put water in the tea pot and placed it back on the stove and turned it on. After breakfast I was sitting on the couch watching TV, Ronnie came into the living room crying she walked over to me. 

"What's the matter?" I asked worried. 

"I had an accident." Ronnie cried. 

I got up off the couch and left the living room with Ronnie we walked upstairs and walked into her bedroom I walked into Ronnie's bathroom and ran her bath water she came into the bathroom. I knelt down and went to undress her, she moved away. 

"Sweetheart stop moving so I can put you in the tub." 

I heard Gaia coming up the stairs and saw her walk into Ronnie's bathroom she walked over to Gaia.

"What's the matter?" Gaia asked. 

"Ronnie told me that she had an accident and I brought her upstairs to give her a bath and she doesn't want to hold still so I can put her in the tub." I explained, climbing to my feet. 

"I'll give her a bath," 

I left the bathroom and walked over to Ronnie's dresser and got her out clothes I sat her clothes on her bed. 

"Babe do we have pull-ups?" Gaia asked. 

"Yeah, they are under the sink behind you." I said. 

When Ronnie and Gaia came out of the bathroom Ronnie walked over to me, I helped her get dressed and combed her hair she climbed onto my lap. I got up off the bed and carried Ronnie downstairs I walked into the living room and sat down on the couch Ronnie laid her head on my chest. 

"Daddy, I'm sleepy." 

"Would you like me to sit in the recliner and gently rock you?" 

"Yes please," Ronnie yawned. 

I got up off the couch and walked over to the recliner and sat down I gently rocked Ronnie, Gaia came into the living room and sat down on the couch. I checked on Ronnie she was starting to nod off I kissed her forehead and gently rubbed her back. 

"Babe would you like a blanket?" 

"Yes please." 

Gaia got up off the couch and grabbed my Tampa Bay Lightning blanket off the back of the couch she walked over to the recliner and covered Ronnie and I up with my blanket Gaia leaned down and kissed me, I kissed her and playfully nipped her bottom lip. 

"Should we let Ronnie sleep in bed with us?" Gaia asked. 

"I think she'll be fine to sleep in her bed." I replied. 

Later on, that night after Ronnie was in bed Gaia and I were snuggling on the couch watching Family Guy on TV, she snuggled up beside me I wrapped my arm around Gaia she laid her head on my chest. 

"Babe, if I get sick will you take care of me?" 

"Of course, I'll take care of you if you're sick." 

"I would return the favor and take care of you if you weren't feeling well." She said. 

"Are you ready for bed my dear?" I asked, stifling a yawn. 

Gaia sat up on the couch I turned off the TV and sat the remote on the coffee table we got up off the couch Gaia turned off the lamp. We left the living room and walked upstairs Gaia and I walked into our room and climbed into bed I reached over and turned off the lamp we drifted off to sleep.
