Millie was in her cheer outfit doing some back flips along with Maddie to hype up the crowd. They were currently tied up with the other school and there was only 2 minutes left of the game. On the last 10 seconds of the game Finn scored a touch down, everyone cheered. Iris ran towards him and kissed him making Millie roll her eyes. Every chance Iris got she would kiss him in front of her trying to make Millie jealous.  Millie could care less she didn't like Finn like that he is not even considered a friend to her.

"Hey there's going to be a party you coming?" asked Sadie running up to Millie

"No i'm going to head home"

"Oh come on"

"No i'm really tired but you go" replied Millie

"Okay bye ill see you later" said Sadie waving goodbye to her and then running to Caleb

"Hey Millie" she heard someone say behind her

"Hey Romeo" she said when she turned around

"Are you going to the party?" asked Romeo making Millie shake her head

"Well would you like to go out for some ice cream?"

"Sure"

Finn Sadie Caleb Maddie and Iris were standing a couple of feet away so they were able to see Romeo talking with Millie.

"Hey where's Millie going?"

"I don't know she said that she was going home" "She can take care of herself Finn she has taken boxing classes" she said to try to make him less concern

"When she was 12 and she only took 2 classes"

"True but i'm pretty sure she can still fight, now let's go partttyyy!" screamed Sadie making Maddie cheer along with her. They all went to their cars and drove to the party.

----

Millie was currently on a "date" with Romeo. They were sitting across from each other in an ice cream shop. Millie was listening to him bragging about how rich his father was and he's going to take over his business one day. Millie was basically tuning him out daydreaming about whatever crossed her mind. Eventually she thought of Finn which she did not like so she focused her gaze back on Romeo simply nodding to whatever he had just said.

"So how long have you been doing cheer leading for?"

"Well my mom took me at a cheer camp when I was 5 years old thats how I met Sadie and Maddie. I stopped at 12 to do some boxing and then went back to it a couple years after."

"Well you must be able to stretch those legs far then." said Romeo licking his lips making Millie shift uncomfortably. "You know splits"

"Yeah. It a basic thing to do for cheer" she replied finishing her ice cream

"Well I got to go it's getting late" said Millie getting up from the seat.

"I'll take you home"

"No it's fine. I am going to Lilia's." said Millie making an excuse

"Ah the pretty blonde with those mesmerizing green eyes"

"Yeah. Well it was great hanging out with you bye"

"At least let me walk you down the street wouldn't want anything to happen to you"

They were both walking down the street side by side. Millie kept her distance still feeling uncomfortable around him. They were approaching the street to Lilia's house but Romeo pulled her into a dark alley. He pinned her to the wall having her both her wrist beside her hips hold down by his hands. She couldn't move, he had one of his legs pushed up to her thigh where she couldn't move her leg to kick him in his spot. He started kissing her neck while she struggled to get free. You could hear her pleading him to stop

"Rom- Romeo please, please stop" she said tears running down her cheeks as memories flooded to her mind. He continued to kiss her while trying to expose more of her skin.  One of his hands went to her thigh while still having a tight hold of her wrist in his hand. He raised the skirt higher gripping on her thigh. She felt weak like she had no power but it wasn't until someone pushed him back from her making him release the hold from her. She made sure she was covered and not exposed anymore. She could hear punches thrown and grunts from Romeo in pain on the floor with blood coming out from his nose and mouth while getting hit.

"F-Finn?" Millie says when she looks at the person who was beating up Romeo. He stops and looks at her walking closer to her and she wraps herself to him. He was the only thing safe right now to her. He wrapped his arms around her body, kissing the top of her head while comforting her. He then helped her out of the alley and walked towards his car. The drive back to her house was silent, Finn couldn't help but wonder what would have happened if he didn't come look for her.

Once they arrived she walked to her room and went into the restroom. She got in the shower and sat on the shower floor with hot water to remove the sensation she still felt. She could still feel his hands on her, her silent cries and meaningless pleads to him. She was curled up in the floor trying to erase the memories, trying to not think about what her ex did to her. A knock on the door brought her back to reality/ snapped her out of her thoughts.

"Millie?" She had forgotten that he was still in her bedroom, she thought that he would've left but he didn't he stayed to make sure she was alright after what had occurred. She couldn't help but wonder that if Finn wouldn't have saved her things would have gotten way further.

"I'll be out in a minute" she said turning off the water and wrapping a towel around her body. She changed into sweatpants and a baggy shirt. She came out of the restroom seeing a concerned Finn.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Finn asked even though he knew the answer to that. She shook her head while she walked to her bed.

"Thank you for saving me." Millie began as tears were starting to form "If you hadn't shown up then-"

"Hey its okay don't cry" Finn said sitting next to her wrapping his arm around her body. Millie clung onto him as if he was the safest thing to her. She cried while he comforted her. At the end of the day all Millie really needed was Finn, she felt safe with him, he was her safe zone.
