Chapter 21

Since Christmas day Finn has been checking up on Millie more. He found out the next day that she was all alone so he suggested that she should just stay over at his house. Millie denied but Finn was able to make her since he had told his parents. So she ended up staying over 4 days and then on New years eve she came back to her house. 

The maids and everyone else that works there were back. Millie was in her room trying to find an outfit. This year it was the brown's turn to throw the new years party. So the whole block is invited as well as family and friends and they all celebrate it together. She had different gowns in one side of her closet that her stylist had left. She tried on a navy blue off the shoulder dress that had sparkles on the waist under the diamond waist line.

She left her room when she heard her mother's voice downstairs, she came back. 

"Mom" she says from the top of the stairs.

"Oh Millie what are you wearing. That dress looks horrible on you, Emma go help Millie out and find her a better dress to wear." "Paul! Where are my bags? Debby take them to my room, now!" she says as the maid quickly grab her bags and take them upstairs. 

"What about this one?" asks Emma holding up a emerald green dress that had a deep v line.

Millie shakes her head, as she is sitting down.

"What about red, I think red really makes your olive skin stand out."

"I don't know, I recently wore red"

"How about this one" she takes out another navy blue dress that had a high neck top instead of the off the shoulders. The dress was more silkier and less glittery and had a lace belt at the waist. Millie tried it on and she actually really liked it. 

"I think this might be the one" said Millie as she looked at herself in the mirror. 

"I think you should put your hair up and wear diamond earrings."

"Thank you Emma, for your help"

"Your welcome, I should go and help out with the decorations"

Millie was downstairs greeting guest and making small conversation. She walked to the back, and grabbing a glass off of one of the maids? 

"Hmm the place looks nice" began Iris. Millie rolled her eyes forgetting that she as well as her friends were invited. "But you, you should have really taken more time getting ready. You can see your fatness through the dress" she finishes of before walking away and having her minions follow after her while laughing at Millie.

Millie sighs looking down at the dress "Hey, what was that about?"

"Nothing, she just commented about the decorations and all"

"Okay, well the whole gang is here come on" she pulls her to the back where they were all in a decorated room that didn't have much furniture other than a pool table and a small bar.

Once they saw Millie and Sadie walk in they all greeted them by hugging each other. After a couple of minutes of them chatting the boys decided to play pool. Caleb was in the lead making Gaten keep shouting 'bullshit' when he would miss. At the end Caleb one making Gaten upset. 

"I think the girls should play against each other"

"Yeah, let's see who will win Sadie or Millie"

"Ooh yes Millie let's play against each other" she says walking to Caleb grabbing the stick while Millie walked to Finn.
