Chapter 31

every time i re read it i end up not liking the chapter sooooo just saying it's not great

"Mills what's wrong?" Finn asked as it was just them two alone in the room. It was another afternoon that he had came by to visit her and just enjoy her presence. 

"Nothing" lie she can't stop thinking about that stupid dream. She seriously want to kiss him more than ever before.

"Come one don't lie to me"

"It's just this dream I had" he sits up straighter waiting for her to continue. "We were at the tree house, and then we were in the waterfall" she sighs "We were splashing water at each other having fun" she smiles "but then you, we-"

"What"

She couldn't tell him "I drowned and then I woke up"

"Oh that's weird" he says making her nod

She needed to somehow make the last part come true just to see if her feeling are real.

"Finn?" she says softly, he hums in response looking at her eyes as she stares at his beautiful face. 

She grabs his hand into hers "Can you kiss me?" he's taken back from what she had asked him to do. 

He nods placing his hand on her cheek caressing it as she gives him a smile as in she's sure that she wants him to kiss her. He begins to lean in as she does too, he's face is an inch away from hers when he mutters "i'm coming in" making her almost laugh.

Once she felt his lips on hers it felt amazing like fireworks going off. She bunched up his shirt in her hand pulling him closer to her. His lips, his touch, she wanted everything. It was when they couldn't breath that they should have pulled apart but they didn't want that feeling to end. They wanted to keep feeling their touch, keep felling those fireworks. It wasn't until they almost suffocated that they pulled apart, leaning their foreheads on one another. They both were breathing heavily and smiling like idiots and their hands on one another. 

But that didn't happen

When their lips were about to meet the door opened revealing Mia.

"Visiting hours are over" said Mia but when she saw them pull apart she understood what was about to happen

"Oh um i'm sorry i'm just going to give you two a minute" she says closing the door.

"Um" he begins as he runs his hand through his curls, Millie would like to run her fingers through his curls instead.

Millie's face is flustered "I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yup" he says standing up. She goes in for a hug while he goes in for a shake of hand "Oh" they say and then do what the other was doing. They settled with a fist pump before Finn left. 

Millie sighed running her fingers through her short chestnut hair. Mia walked in with a clip board in her hand "Hi, sorry for interrupting your moment. So spill the tea" she says sitting on the bed excited to find out more. 

"There's no tea to be spilled"

"Yes there is it's overflowing" she says crossing her leg. "So you and Finn huh" she says wiggling her eyebrows  "I always knew there was something between you two"

"There's nothing going on between us" she says while Mia gave her a "you're lying" look

"Okay, maybe there is i don't know" she says frustrated "I had a dream of us kissing and I just i- I don't know"

"It's okay. Maybe the dream was just how you feel towards him."

"I mean that's why I asked him to kiss me to see if the feeling were real."

"Oh honey they are real." said Mia "Man I should had gone next door first, Sadie is going to hate me for ruining a fillie moment" she cursed under her breath

"I can't like him"she says Making Mia look at her confused "I'm no good for him"

"You two need each other." Mia says as she gets up "Sleep well i'll see you in the morning" Mia says before walking out of the room.

Could she be right? She has been avoiding her true feeling towards him. Maybe it's just a small crush that can go away quickly. She began to get ready for bed and the only thought in her mind was Finn.    (eww)

--next week--

Finn came by the next morning, happy to hear that Millie was getting better and would be able to be back in school for the graduation ceremony. 

"Good morning" he says walking in with a cup of coffee for her and water for Finn

"Morning" she says "You seem happy" he hands her the cup of coffee

"Mia told me that you'll be able to graduate with all of us and even be at school before graduation" he says smiling. She forces a smile and drinks her coffee. If only he knew that she has been faking all along.

She clears her throat "Um Finn about last week... can we just forget it happened" he stares at her for a second and then nods his head 

"Sure" he says taking a drink from his water and then taking a seat on the couch. 

"Why do you visit me? I mean i don't mind but you could be out there hanging out with everyone else and having fun but instead you're here with me why?" she asked taking a seat on the couch next to him. 

He shrugs his shoulder "Because I care about you. If i had to choose to hang out with you or the group, I'll choose you" he says making her smile, a real smile.

"I love your smile" he says tapping her nose making her giggle

"You make me happy Finn." she says admiring him "Thank you" she gives him a hug inhaling his scent that she loves. 

"You make me happy too more than you could ever know" he whispers to her ear as they are still hugging before they let go smiling at each other.

Wow....

I'm kinda scared for this book to end cuz then ya'll will just move on yk like it makes me sad cuz my other books don't get the attention this one does. This book is coming to an end so be prepared.
