Millie was standing in front of a 3 way mirror on a cushion stand. She had a dress on that she will be wearing to the winter dance that was a couple days away.

"Miss Millie seems like you've lost weight we will have to adjust the waist of the dress. So i need you to stand still" Said her stylist. She looked away from the mirror not wanting to look at her reflection. She stood there for 20 minutes when finally they were done. After they finished she left the room and walked to hers.

A couple of days had passed since she found out that her dad was cheating so he had been sleeping in hotel rooms. In those days she had lost about 11 pounds. She had also gotten a new phone and new number hoping for the anonymous messages to end. 

She changed into a shirt and sweats since she wasn't planning on doing anything for the day. She turned on her TV and watched Netflix. While watching a movie her phone kept vibrating every couple of minutes. She finally decided to check her phone. There were messages from Sadie, Finn, and Lilia. She turned off her phone ignoring the messages since she just wanted to have a nice quiet peaceful day with no interruptions. 

She was enjoying the movie when Finn came into her room climbing the balcony of course.

"Why haven't you responded to my texts?"

"Because I am trying to have a nice peaceful day with no interruptions." She says looking at him then looking back at the TV.

"What are you watching?" he asks making his way to her bed and sitting next to her.

"What do you want?" she says pausing the movie and looking a him. 

"I just want to hang out. Is that a crime?"

"Look Finn I would really like to just have some alone time"

"Why? You've said that you hate being alone"

"Well right now I would love to be alone."

"Mills" he paused "Talk to me. What's on your mind?" She had a lot on her mind she wanted to tell him that she's been starving herself, how her family is falling apart, that she's been receiving texts that have been hurting her, that things are getting tough each day, that there might be a chance of her actually falling in love with him, that she has feelings for him but she'll never tell him she just wanted everything to be out but she couldn't. 

"Nothing, my mind is empty" she says looking at him with a blank face.

"Before I leave I need to ask you something?" he asked to which she nodded "You're still coming to my birthday party right?"

"Of course. I wouldn't miss for the world" she says truthfully. He nodded at her response before leaving her room. True she couldn't possibly think of missing his party. He's been the one there for her the most these past couple of months. She already had her dressed picked out and couldn't wait to celebrate it with him, her Finnie.

Millie was getting ready for the winter dance her hair was being curled while she was getting her makeup done. Once her hair and makeup was done she put on her dress, she was looking at herself in the mirror. The dress reached above her knees it was a white strapless dress that had blue lace detail. She paired it with a diamond necklace as well as sparkly silver high heels. 

Millie had made it to the dance with Sadie who was wearing a light pink strapless dress that reached above her knees and Lilia was wearing a navy blue dress that had sparkles on the top and reached down to her knees. As they were in the table Caleb Gaten and Noah had arrived in their tuxedos matching with their dates Millie was looking for someone, a curly headed boy to be exact. As she looked around a slow song began to play making the couples go and dance leaving Millie alone in the table. She decided to check her phone to distract herself and make her less bored when she felt a presence next to her.
