I grabbed my purse and keys. He's here. Nakauwi na si Dad!

"I'll go with you."

"No. Stay here." I said for the nth time! It' realky hard to deal with this man.

"No. I'll go with you." he said while getting his jacket

"Daniel." i used my serious tone. "You'll stay here. I don't want you to be there. You know why."

It worked. He stopped. "Okay. Just make sure you'll be safe." he said. He leanes and kissed me.

"I will." he caresses my cheeks and slightly lift his lips up. "I'll be back." I said

"I'll wait."

"DAD!" I hugged him so tight. He returned my hug. "I..I missed you." my voice almost a sob

"Kumain kanaba? May masakit ba sayo? Tell.me. " the I hugged him again

"Ganyan din ang tanong sakin ni Zachi nung nakita niya ako." he slightky laughed then he became serious again. "I'm fine. Now that both of you are here."

Lumapit din si Zachi at niyakap si Dad.

"We're still not done." Zachi said

"I know." Dad answered

Hindi pa nga tapos. Nakuha nga nila si Dad pero alam namin lahat na babalik siya para kay Dad. Hindi na ata matatapos to.

"She escaped. I'm sorry. Hindi ako nagingat. Nagpadala agad ako sa emosyon ko. I was really desperate to get you back."

"Shh. It's okay."

Pinagpahinga muna namin si Dad sa kwarto. Nasa bahay kami ni Zachi. Hindi ko akalain na magpaoagawa siya ng bahay na katulad na katulad ng samin. Parang bahay rin namin to na nasa ibang lugar lang.

"Nagawa mo naba?" she asked giving me a glass of beer.

"Your choice." she ended. Shit! Why is she like this?!

"I know you'll do that. Did Maxine got a lesson from Andrea?" she asked as if nothing's wrong

"Why are you like that?" I asked

"Like what?" she said coldly

"How do you want me to react? You want me to be shocked and worry about the thing you've done? or be happy? For being so honest with them?" she said full of sarcasm.

I looked away.

"Hindi ka marunong makinig. Hindi na bago yun." I felt like she slapped me a hundred times and was soaked in cold water.
