CHAPTER THIRTY FOUR

ZACHI'S POV

I assigned Charlie to look over Mom. Everythings fine pwera lang nung nalaman ng mga tauhan ni Magenta kung sino ang nagbabantay sakanya.

It's really hard to defeat her. Lalo na't nagtutulungan sila ni Max.

Max also escaped. The night before we went to Mindanao. Pinahanap ko agad sila sa mga tauhan ko pero hindi siya nakita. I don't know if humihina na ang mga tauhan ko o magaling lang talaga magtago yung hayop na yon. Pareho sila ni Magenta. They're fucking good at hiding.

I can feel Cassandra standing behind me. Nandito na pala siya. Sigurado ako nakapunta na din siya kay Mom.

Glad Mom had minor injuries only. Nasa kwarto na siya ng isa sa mga hospital at nagpapahinga.

"How are you?" I asked while looking outside the glass window.

"Are you really asking me that?"

"I just want to know how you feel."

"You know how I feel. You know everything."

"I didn't knew they will pull out the brakes on Mom's car."

If Charlie wasn't there, wala na si Mom ngayon.

"I'm.. I'm.. I don't know." she said.

"Cassandra." tawag ni Dad. Nandito na din siya. I saw them hugging each other on their reflection on the glass window.

I'm sure nangyari na ang dapat mangyari sa kanila ni Daniel. I have to do that. But I promise, I will bring it back to normal. The way it is supposed to be.

I saw a black Lamborghini Gallardo on the parking lot. May lumabas na pamilyar na lakaki. He looked at my direction and waved. I narrowed my gaze to see who he is.

FUCK! IT'S MAX!

I dialed Rein's number and Charlie's.

"The cctv on Mom's room."

(Clear.) - Rein

"They're hacked. Charlie. Iniwan mo ba si Mom?"

(Yes. NagCR ako saglit. But nandon naman yung 5 pang guards.)

"I told you not to leave her!" I hung up.

"Zachi, anong nangyayari?" Cassandra asked

Damnit! Ofcourse tinatawag din siya ng kalikasan! I shouldve brought Calvin or Anj with Charlie. Shit! Baguhan palang siya.

I don't trust any of my guards. It's really hard to trust them except Anj,Calvin,Mark and Rein. I know they won't betray me.

Kasundo ni Max halos lahat ng miyembro ng ZCorp. Kaya posibleng traydurin din ako ng sarili kong kampon. Hindi ko rin masasabi kaya hindi ko rin sila agad pinagkakatiwalaan.

I ran towards the hallway. Dad and Cassandra is following me. They called my name. But I have to be sure that it's not too late. I hope it's not too late.

I quickly opened the door nung makarating ako sa room niya. Then the other door. Shit!

The three guards were already tied up and unconscious.

The two guards, Marco and Nathan? Obviously they betrayed me. I'll find those bastards and give them what they deserve.

I went to her bed. She's not here.

"Where's Mom?!"

Tumakbo ako palabas. Pababa ng hagdan. As soon as I reached the parking lot, the car started to move. I gunned the tires.
