It was a while later while I was standing on the side of a cliff, just minding my business, and observing the lake that the chakra reappeared again. Right behind me.
"Stop hiding and come out!" I demanded, not even looking behind to see who it was. I had a feeling that made me think I knew who it was. I mean—I'd definitely felt this chakra signal before.
"You have very strong senses don't you?" I turned to see Tzuu there, "you didn't used to."
"You—" I glared at her but she just smiled at me.
"Sorry, Lady y/n, but I can't allow you to interfere with anything that's happening here," she declared with a smug look, almost looking like she knew more than she was letting on. Ironic considering my stance in terms of the knowledge of this world. I just frowned as I went to retort but instead found myself silenced and wincing at the feeling of a slight pinch of something going into my neck. I put my hand over the spot and pulled it back to find a small dart and glanced over my shoulder weakly to find another form of Tzuu stood watching me, the weapon she'd used to send the dart flying towards me still in her hand.
What..?
She'd injected some kind liquid into my blood stream, that much was clear by the fact that all control over my body seemed to decrease as the world spun and my body swayed until eventually, I fell. Instead of crashing to the ground, however, Tzuu caught my head and shoulders and carefully laid me on the ground before glancing around us.
No.
If I fall asleep like this... I might..
No.
Keep me awake.
Don't let me sleep!
Please!

"Are you sure it was sensible to send y/n out alone on this mission?" Temari asked me for about the 7th time this morning.
You'd think I'd sent her on an impossible job with the way my sister was acting.
"Like I told you the last time, she'll be fine. Y/n is more than capable to do this job. Plus, the leaf ninja won't leave without knowing she's safe. I made sure that they would find her and send her away when they no longer need her," I told her again. I feel like a broken record. Constantly repeating myself is beginning to become tiring.
I went to grab my drink but stopped when the glass cracked violently and then fell apart.
I looked up at Temari.
"I don't believe in bad omens, but it's just like when you were taken. I think something bad is happening," she told me grimly. I couldn't help but to nod as a wave of discomfort rolled over me.
Something is wrong.
"I'll send a message out to the leaf ninja," I told her before getting up and going to the messenger post, not even waiting for a response. The quicker we get word out, the better.
"Lord Kazekage?" one of the bird watchers questioned greeted me with a confused look as I just asked for paper and writing equipment. He gave it to me without much of a fight but he did clearly show signs of curiosity, but I didn't have time for prying ninja and focused on writing my letter.
'Leaf ninja,
We do not believe in superstitions, however, in this case... please ask y/n to return. We shall send out another capable ninja to assist you in this mission.
Regards,
- Lord Gaara, Kazekage.'
