Two years later_

"Y/n?" Gaara looked up from his paperwork to me in curiosity as I walked past Temari and Kankuro and straight around to his side of his desk, "something wrong?"

"Come here," I gestured, he looked at me confused but stood and I leaned over to whisper to him, "I'm pregnant."

He froze for a moment and stepped back before staring at me. Everything was in his eyes.

He looked at me almost as if asking 'really?', so I nodded.

"For real?" he asked.

"Definitely for real," I confirmed.

"What's... going on over there?" Kankuro asked as he and Temari also stood up.

Gaara looked at me as I to ask if he could tell them, so I just nodded and leaned against the wall as I watched them.

"I'm going to be a Dad," Gaara announced.

The silence, although short living, was extremely loud before Temari suddenly loud out a loud excited shout.

"You're pregnant?!" she shouted.

"Yeah," I nodded.

"You're pregnant!" she shouted again before looking to Kankuro who looked just as frantically excited as she was, "she's pregnant!"

"I know!" he shouted back.

"We're going to be an Aunt and Uncle!" Temari shouted again.

"I know!" Kankuro shouted back before Gaara turned to me and pulled me into a hug.

"Take it you're excited?" I asked, he just pressed a kiss onto my forehead before moving to my lips and then pressing his head down into the crook of my neck.

"Very," he told me before Temari pulled him slightly.

"Wait—how far along?" she asked me.

"Tsunade said about a month-ish," I answered.

"Tsunade is here?" she asked again before shaking her head and smiling at me, "that doesn't matter. I'm going to be an Aunt."

"Yes, you are," I nodded, smiling as she opened her arms, and I stepped in for a hug.

"Oh~ this is exciting," Kankuro joined us, "girl or boy?"

"Don't know," I shrugged.

"No. Do you want a girl or boy," he rephrased his question.

"Hm... I don't mind, I don't think," I shrugged before looking to Gaara who nodded with me, I took his hand and gave it a small squeeze as Temari and Kankuro excitedly continued to talk.

After a while they rushed off, saying something about baby stuff and the office was finally quiet. I was sat on the edge of Gaara's desk, and he was sat in his chair just watching me, his hand was on my stomach as he just sat there.

"Are you happy?" I asked him, pulling his hand from my stomach and holding it in mine. He looked up at me and smiled.

"Very," he told me, "so very happy, y/n. I love you so much."

He paused and frowned, "are you happy?"

"Of course," I nodded, and he gave me a small smile before pulling his hand back and then resting his head on my legs.
