Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.

My eyes slowly open to show a white ceiling.

Again...

I'm back in the hospital in Japan. The exact same position as last time.

I managed to pull myself up and pull the oxygen mask off my face and pulled all of the needles and wires connected to me out.

I'm in the normal world again.

At first glance, I feel irritated about this, however, this is a good opportunity to learn somethings I clearly lack any understanding of. My OC that I am inhabiting being one of those things. So, this time, I'm going to take a look into my OC's back story. I can't believe I forgot to do that last time I was here. Hello? I'm an idiot.

"You're awake again?" the doctor from last time walked into my room, "allow me to run you through some tests then I'll give you some clothes and you can return home."

That's quick... and a bit of a dull reaction? There's no excitement around my awakening like last time.

I just soundlessly nodded and slowly stood up. My legs were a bit wobbly, and they felt strangely numb at first but after walking and standing for a while I found the feeling returning again, it didn't take long before I was walking normal again.

"What happened?" I asked the doctor as we walked through the hallways and towards the MRI room.

"Your Father found you in the same situation as last time. He brought you here, we took a few tests, and they came back the same as last time," he told me as I laid down onto the table and closed my eyes as the scanner scanned and took photos of my body. Once it was done, I jumped up and joined him again.

"Every time you pass out to sleep naturally, it's like you fall into a completely unbreakable coma that, not to alarm you, slowly seems to kill your body," the doctor shows me the difference between my sleeping body and my awake body, "we are rather perplexed and worried about this, but we believe for now it should be fine... enough? I've reached out to doctors in America, England, France, a lot of places across Europe. I'm still waiting for their opinion. But for now, there's not much I can do. I can't treat something I don't see or understand."

The sleeping body was like when you look at someone's organs when they're all shutting down, but my awake body was literally what you'd expect an athletic child who never has had an issue with their body in their whole life to look like.

It truly was strange.

I was led back to my room and given my clothes that seemingly I'd come in with when my Father had found me. I do remember wearing them... I think? Once I was dressed, the bracelet that had been so carefully placed on top of the clothes in my pocket, I was released.

I walked back to my house, I had no money, so I was left to walk the 3 hours back home. Usually I'd complain, but it was good thinking time, so I had no complaints on the matter. Not much at least.

"Dad?" I called, entering the house. Almost instantly the sound of thudding from the 1st floor started to come my way until it stopped at the top of the stairs, I looked up to see my Father with our butler close behind. My Father looked like he was getting ready to go out for a dinner party.

Did they not call him? Inform him I'd woken up? I did think it strange that he wasn't there at all during the period I was awake to being discharged. Is that even legal?

His shirt was unbuttoned, and his shoes were untied. The only tidy thing was his dress pants. Our butler was looking at him annoyed as my Father jumped down the stairs, three steps at a time and threw himself on me, pulling me into a tight hug. I almost thought he was going to trip and fall about halfway down but he seemed to make it down safely.
