chapter 18 | fiasco

Finally, you wake up. Recovery girl checks on you one last time before letting you go back to your friends.

Before leaving, you notice Uraraka passed out, she looked awful. 'Must have been Bakugou's devil work.'

You leave the recovery room and step in the waiting room, you look thought the gigantic glass window. You look down and see Todoroki and Izuku fighting.

"Jeez! How long was I out for?!" You screech. "(L/N)!" Kaminari and Kirishima cheer in unison. "You've missed quiet a lot of battles, I'm glad to see you're okay." Momo pats a free seat next to her. You slide next to her and watch the battle.

"Ok, who do y'all think is gonna win?" You ask your friends. "Todoroki obviously. Midoriya is gonna get his ass pounded." Mineta shuttered.

"What?! How could you say that, Mineta?!" Iida screams. "I do not like choosing between my classmates, but I do have to agree- Todoroki has a better grip at his quirk. It would be a miracle if Midoryia wins." Iida chops the air.

Bakugou interjects, "Who ever says Deku is a fucking idiot." He growls. You, Kaminari and Sero giggle before spitting out a small 'Deku' which only angers the demon.

The match ends with Todoroki as the winner. You can't help but feel a wave of 'proud mom' energy for your best friend. He tried to help Izuku on during the battle and for that, he is the true winner.

"(F/N) (L/N) vs Tenya Iida!" The announcer says.

You stand up wish your robot friend good luck, which he returns. You make your way down and out into the arena. Cheers fill the open area as you and Iida face each other.

"I hope you realise I have no intentions on loosing." Iida states. You give him a smirk and a nod, "Agreed."

After Present Mic introduces the two of you, the battle begins. You run up to Iida and try to land a kick at him but he simply dodges.

Iida sends a kick at you, without time to react you fly across the floor. "Sorry, (L/N). I don't think it's okay to hit a woman, I hope you remember that I respect women!" He screams, readying another attack. You quickly get up before he can strike, sending a gust of water at him.

He recovers from the attacks and runs full speed at you. You, being the trickster you are, you create a puddle of water making the sonic wannabe slip on the ground.

"Ha! Take that, you sonic wannabe-" You're cut off as Iida grabs your shoulders and pushes you to the out of bounds area.

"No no no!" You panic, you lift the back of your leg and kick him where the sun doesn't shine. Iida removes his hands from your shoulders and moves to grab his privates. "You hit my scrotum!!" He shrieks. You let out a panicked cry, "I know I'm sorry!" You jump up. Iida removes one hand from his area and chops the air violently.

"Do you know what this means?! You play dirty, (L/N)!" He cries. "I'M SORRY I PANICKED!!!!" You cry.

The audience then become quiet and sweat drop. Your classmates let out a sigh and groan, "Is he seriously giving her a lecture? It's a fight." Todoroki mumbles. "PUNCH HIM, MERMAID BITCH!" Bakugou grows impatient and takes his anger out on Kirishima's poor head.

"If you decide to hit there again I hope you realise I may not have children-" Iida gets cut off by your apology and a tower of water crashing down onto him, sending him out of bounds. Midnight blinks before announcing your win. "(L/N) proceeds!"

"Phew.."

"Finally."

"What the heck was that battle..?"

Two more rounds go by and it's finally your turn, again. You begin to scream into your rockin emo friends shoulder, "I'm so gonna loose!"

"W-Why?" You hear Izuku ask. You see he finally has woken up and here to watch the last three rounds. "T-Todoroki.."

Izuku tenses up, you know he definitely feels your pain. He places a comforting hand on your shoulder, "Good luck."

"Don't say you're going to loose!" Uraraka comes over to comfort you. "Yeah, you're the strongest person I know!" Izuku gives you a shaky smile. Momo, Jirou, Kirishima and Kaminari come over and encourage you. This is what you need.

"Thanks..." You flash them a toothy grin before making your way out. Lifting your head high, you match on over to the arena. 'Don't let me die today.'
