chapter 51 | into the dorms

Today was the day that everyone was finally moving into the dorms. You honestly weren't too excited to be living with your class mates, even though you liked them. It just made you a bit uncomfortable but you could probably adjust. You were excited to see that one special person, maybe if you were lucky, you could have your room nexts to theirs. Or share a room. How ever the dorm system worked.
You and your friends crowded around Aizawa as he spoke, "For now, I'm just glad we were able to bring Class 1-A back together again."
Your classmates began to talk about how everyone was able to convince their parents to let them into the dorms somehow. Sadly, Mineta was allowed to stay in the dorms. You worried if he'd try to sneak into your room or try to take some of your laundry.
"Now, I'll explain briefly about the dorms, but first-" Aizawa clapped, "For now, we will focus on getting the professional licenses we were planning to have you get during camp."
Chatter began to rise, making Aizawa call out for them to be quiet. "Listen up, this is important. Kirishima, Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, Midoryia, Iida, Bakugou. These five went to save (Y/N) that night."
Everyone began to tense up, making Aizawa put his head down. "Your reactions tell me that you all were at least aware of to. I'm going to set aside a number of issues and say this. If it weren't for All Might's retirement, I would've expelled everyone except (Y/N), Jiro and Hagakure. Of course the five that went, but also the twelve who knew but didn't stop them betrayed our trust, no matter the reason. I would be greatful if you could follow the proper procedures and act properly in order to regain that trust. That is all. Now, were going inside. Let's have some energy!"
Literally everyone just died on the spot. You stood next to Yaomomo who literally was on the brink of tears and you felt so shitty. 'This was basically my fault.'
You quickly reminded yourself that it wasn't, you weren't in charge of your friends actions but you still felt a bit responsible.
You tried to do something to break the awkward mood, literally anything.
"Hey.. you know what's beautiful? Remember the first word that I said." You smirked, causing everyone to laugh.
"Y/N)! I think you must have messed up on your grammar! The first word you said was hey! I think you were trying to make it to sound like 'You' would be the first word. The word 'Hey' cannot be described as beautiful!"
Todoroki looked like he was about to have a seizure trying desperately to understand why everyone was laughing.
This just caused everyone to laugh even more, and while this went on you went over to Kirishima and handed him a stack of cash. "Here. Because you wasted the rest of your allowance."
