The walk home was quiet, too quiet. You were usually a person who liked to joke around, who was strong, everyone believed you had no weaknesses.

But, in truth, that wasn't the case most times, you knew somebody was following you. And about now, you felt weaker than ever.

'It's a villain, they're gonna kidnap me, what the hell do I do?!'

As stupid as you are, you turned the corner down into an alleyway for a shortcut home. You could hear the footsteps of the person behind you reaching closer.

Suddenly, it was gone. The footsteps were completely gone. You halted, slowly turning your head around, nobody was there.

'It was just my nerves playing a trick on me, It's only 7 pm, why would somebody try and attack me at this hour when there's still people out-'

Your thoughts were instantly shut off as a hand wrapped around your neck, closing an entrance for air to get in.

"Hey, (Y/N), what are you doing out here, shouldn't you be home?" An unfamiliar voice spoke out.

He let go of your neck and pushed you against the wall, he towered over you trapping you in your spot. You got a look at his appearance, it consisted of spiky dark hair, bright blue eyes and half of his body looked burned. He has some sort of staples? On the areas of the burns.

You weren't even completely sure what was wrong with him, it was so dark and you just lacked brain cells to know.

"U-Uh.." You whimpered.

He put a finger to his lips, shushing you. "Now I know why Shigaraki is so..obsessed with you." The villain smirked as he eye-fucked you. You cheeks flushed awkwardly as you let out a cough.

He snapped back to reality, locking his eyes with yours he speaks, "The names Dabi."

You took a second to compose yourself, "Do you need something from me?"

He moved away from you, shaking his head. "Nah, maybe later, but I just wanted to meet you. Remember my name doll, you'll see me soon.~"

He stepped back as purple mist consumed him. You pressed yourself against the wall in shock, not wanting to go where he was heading. You already knew he was working with the league, you take this chance to scurry away from him.

You don't stop running, not until you reach your apartment complex. You take out your keys, hands shaking rapidly while fiddling with them. You finally find the right key and stab it into the keyhole, rushing up the stairs to your room.

You see your apartment door, jamming the key into the door you push open it. Once inside, you slam the door closed and rush into the kitchen where you see your mom pacing around the kitchen while Gray comforts her.

"I-I'm here..!"

Your family snaps their heads to the kitchen entrance and in an instant, they run into you. "Where were you?! You said you'd be come before 7!"

You pull away from their grasp and look at your mom, you think before speaking up.

"There was some heroes chasing a villain and the street got closed off so I couldn't make it home, I tried to call but my phone died. I'm sorry for worrying you, mom!"

She seemed to buy it, sighing she let go of you and nodded. "I-It's ok, just next time use your phones friend or something."

You nodded, walking away down the hall and into your own room. You ripped off your uniform and stepped into the shower. You shivered, even though the water was hot.

'He's gonna see me soon? Should I tell mom and Gray? What do I do?'

You turned the shower off and stepped out, drying yourself and putting your pajamas on. You walked over to your desk and threw out your internship sheet.

You remembered to google the hero named Triton, so you did. You learned that he was a hero who was 24 years old, he had dark brown hair and light blue eyes. You watched some of his interviews and he seemed to be pretty nice, you also learned that he has a quirk that was very similar to yours, except he knew different ways to use his quirk and he had a better grasp at what he was doing.

You decided that you were going to work with him. You circled his name on the paper and decided to call it a night.

The entire time you tried to sleep, Dabi's face was printed in your mind. Like a song that can't get out of your head, a drug you couldn't get off of. Dabi would not leave.
