chapter 33 | fighting teachers

The day for the exercise test has come. Throughout the week you were training hard, determined to pass.
Your teacher tries to discuss the exam but Mina and Kaminari interrupt him, again. "It'll be up against robots!" Mina confidently says when all of a sudden Nezu pops out of Aizawa's scarf.
"Nope! Your exam won't be up against robots!" He says, sticking a paw into the air.
"What's gonna be the test then?" You ask.
"Well, due to the recent surge of villains it has caused the school to increase the quality of training methods in order to increase the students' battle experience. From now on, U.A. students will be having battle simulations similar to real life battles. You, Class 1-A, will be the first students who will have real-life battle simulations!" He takes a second for that to sink in before speaking.
"You all will be forming pairs and facing one of U.A.'s teachers in combat! Your pairs have been decided and so have the teachers. Though, one group will be gaining an extra member due to unevenness in number." He smiled before saying goodbye, going back into Aizawa's scarf.
"Are you serious?! The teachers?!" You shout in fear. "Shut up you fuckers, you're overreacting!" Bakugou growls.
"Quiet so I can read the teams out," Aizawa speaks up, "Asui and Tokoyami vs. Ectoplasm. Sato and Kirishima vs. Cementoss. (Y/N), Iida and Ojiro vs. Power Loader. Todoroki and Yaoyorozu vs. Me. Uraraka and Aoyama vs. Thirteen. Ashido and Kaminari vs. Nezu. Koda and Jiro vs. Present Mic. Hagakure and Shoji vs. Snipe. Mineta and Sero vs. Midnight. Midoryia and Bakugou vs. All Might."
Instantly people start to freak over their teams. Bakugou is fuming with anger while Izuku begins to have a panic attack. You meet over with Iida and Ojiro to discuss about what there will be to expect.
"Your teams will be taken on bus to the grounds. First team Asui and Tokoyami come with me." Aizawa guides them to the bus, wishing your friends luck they say goodbye before getting leaving.

You watched the first two rounds on screen, knowing soon it was your turn made you wanna throw up.
"Team (Y/N), Iida and Ojiro up next." The announcement made your stomach drop. "Let's head on now." Iida said.
"Good luck, (Y/N)!" Izuku smiles, Ochako gives you a hug before you thank them and head off.
Running into the bus and jumping into one of the seats, you and your team begin to make a plan of some sort. Time goes by and soon you reach your destination.
"Third battle, (Y/N), Iida and Ojiro. Begin!"
You and your team state down at the ground. You picked up that movement on the ground will either explode or break apart. "What's the plan, Class Rep?" Ojiro asked. Iida begins to speak about something you don't care about.
Then, Iida snaps you back to reality. "We need to work together. FUSION!"
Ojiro sits on Iida's back. "This is embarrassing..."
You nod your head, not wanting to get on. "I'll follow behind.." You say before becoming a floating pile of water. "Water Jigsaw.." You mumble to yourself.
"Here we go, you two! Recipo Burst!" Iida shouts before zooming off. Nearly getting knocked off your feet, you quickly follow behind. You fly in the air behind them, shooting water at any rocks flying in their direction.
Suddenly, Iida jumps and spins Ojiro around. Throwing him in the air he lands past the mark. You grab Iida before he could fall and set him down.
"Team (Y/N), Iida and Ojiro pass!"

Once you get back everyone begins to congratulate you three. "That was epic!" Kaminari shouts. You thank him while more cheers erupt. Suddenly it's the next teams turn and you wish them luck before heading off to watch.
The day ends and everyone is going home. You had to go to the infirmary to check on Izuku and Bakugou due to their crazy fight with All Might.
"How are you guys?" You slowly ask while walking into the room. "(Y/N)! We're fine! How are you?"
"I'm good." You smile.
You begin to chat with the two of them for awhile before your brother knocks on the door and tells you it's time to go home. "See you guys later, rest well!" You hug them both before giving your bag to your brother and head home.
Izuku begins to panic, 'She's hugged me before but I always seem to enjoy it more each time.'
Bakugou then begins to shout, "Just know she only hugged you cause she felt bad for you- you looser! She hugged me because she really wanted to!"
Izuku just rolled his eyes and looked away, a sudden boost of confidence. Bakugou yells at him but Izuku does nothing.
Once home, you begin to text your friend and teacher Triton.
