chapter 76 | (y/n), i've gotta tell you something

You watched from up top as your friends performed. You couldn't help the growing smile on your face, you just loved how everyone looked so happy together.
It was eventually time for you to use your quirk and dazzle the audience. You sent out streams of water to mix in with the performance, occasionally sending light splashes to the audience who seemed to enjoy it for the most part.
You drizzled light rain from up top, small droplets hitting everyone every now and then until you stopped.
When the performance came to an end the crowd burst into cheers. "I'm glad she enjoyed it." You spoke to yourself, a bright smile as you look down at Eri who had the biggest smile on her face.
The curtains closed and everyone met up back stage. You went to go and compliment your friends for their performance and even began to discuss what activities everyone wanted to try out.
This is definitely what you needed, what everyone needed. You were glad you could finally have a day to hang out with your friends like regular teenagers. And to make the day ever better your crush complimented you on your use of your quirk.
You and Izuku had some time to meet up with Eri while cleaning, and you felt like you'd burst out crying while listening to the young girl rave on about the performance.
"I'm glad you liked it, Eri." You crouched down to be at eye level with her. She nodded excitedly, stars in her eyes.
Obviously, Mineta had to come and ruin the moment. "CARRY THIS!"
"S-Sorry..!" Izuku takes the piece of ice from the short boy. You roll your eyes in annoyance and bid farewell to Mirio and Eri.
After the cleanup, you and a small group of friends began to explore the festival. You begged to go to the haunted house first, wanting to see Shinso in action.
You didn't expect him to drop down from the ceiling, you screamed in shock and ran out as soon as he dropped down in front of you.
He couldn't hold back a chuckle as he watches you run out of the haunted house in fear.
Throughout the day you went and tried out various actives and games with your classmates. You sneakily snuck away some food in your bag for later, spending nearly all of your money on food that day.
It was a shame when the day finally came to an end. You wished it could've lasted longer, but your feet were already sore and about to give up on you. Before you left, watched as Izuku gifted Eri a candy apple. You tried to help Izuku make them earlier, but each time you did it would mess up some how. You finally gave in and let Izuku make them instead to give to Eri, and you'd just eat the messed up broken ones that you made.
Apparently your candy apples weren't "Edible", according to Aizawa.
After saying bye to Eri, everyone was instructed to head back to the dorms. You were about to go to go and get ready for bed, but someone grabbed you by the shoulder.
"(Y/N), I've gotta tell you something."
