chapter 45 | strange

"Isn't that strange..the heroes are becoming the bad guys! Seems like they're not dealing with this well at all. So much criticism..but everyone makes a mistake or two, right." Tomura grins madly, staring into your (e/c) eyes.
"It's not like they're supposed to be perfect. Modern day heroes sure have it rough. Don't you think, (Y/N)?" Tomura tilts his head, smirking at your glare.
"Once a hero receives payment to protect people, they aren't a real hero anymore. That's what Stains actions taught us. Spinner leans against the wall, glaring sharply at the floor.
"A hero in this current system only cares about money and glory. And since society buys into these idiotic rules, anyone deemed a looser is shoved aside. So, we want to pose some questions. What is a hero, What is justice? Is this society truly fair? Soon, everyone will be asking! That's when we'll know we've won. And you seem to like winning, don't you, (Y/N)?"
You let a growl escape your mouth, glaring at the villains you can't help but feel powerless. Feeling dehydrated really isn't helping you out in this situation. Your head pounds as you try and put on your best tough girl act, but it fails.
"Dabi. Let her go."
"She'll just try and escape."
"It's fine, she's apart of us, so we gotta treat her like she is. Besides, she's smart enough to know she can't take on all of us, especially if her father is here." He chuckles when he sees the way your face pales up.
Twice begins to unchain you. While he does so, Tomura begins to talk about something you don't bother listening to, instead you form a plan in your head. As soon as the chain drops you punch Twice in the head, knocking him down.
"I'm done listening to you. I don't care, I don't wanna join you. I don't- I don't even think I wanna be on the hero side. I can't fucking think for myself anymore! Why can't everyone just fuck off and let me do my own fucking thing?!"
It's quiet, until footsteps approach and you look up. Your eyes widen in fear as Kraken towers over you. "(Y/N)..."
"Dad..what the fuck do you want?" You step back a bit, only to knock into Tomura chest, he wraps his hands around your waist to hold you in place, careful to not accidentally kill you by holding you with all fingers.
"We have much to discuss."
