"Aw, look at all three of my adorable little delinquents skipping school, but for good reasons!" My dad snapped a few pictures of us and I rolled my eyes as I tapped my foot. Everyone else is already outside waiting, and I'm not gonna hear the end of it from Cadence if I'm the reason we're late to our Valentine's Day breakfast.
Cora and Denver decided to spend the first half of the day together doing their own Valentine's day activities. I think it's sweet, and so does dad. Cora and Liza are gonna join the group later on in the day.
"Dad, please, come on—"
"You three look so good!" He cut Denver off. He took a few more pictures of us before sighing and stepping forward to hug us all. "Okay, okay. You guys go on, have fun, be safe, all that shit. Don't come back home until at least past ten. I've got a date with Josephine."
