No one really cares but I feel like this should be out here. They did amazing last night. I'm happy that Mal, Lindsey, Sam and rose scored. It's their first world cup. Alex and Pinoe, Carli. They did incredible as always. They deserve to celebrate. They put in so much hard work to get there. Every goal that was scored has a little story behind it. The celebration was more of them as a team. Yes it might have been over the top but it's the world cup, every goal should be celebrated. They also showed respect even at the end, Carli and Alex talked with some Thailand players. These girls have been pushing themselves since they were 4 years old. It would be such a dream to score in a world cup. It's a big deal, so yes celebrate. They've broken records, let them celebrate. Proud of our girls, they earned it.
And let's give credit to the WHOLE team that has progressed. I mean they are working better as a team, there Is more communication and they are winning together. Growing more as players. Congrats to the win and hopefully more more goals to come and more celebrations.
