Chapter 34

"Came to see your sister" my dad tells me.

"How do you know where I live?" I tell him seriously. I never gave my parents my address.

"Your sister's phone. I have a tracker on it" he tells me holding up his phone with a map. I see a red dot, that's my sisters phone.

"Make it quick" I tell him stepping aside and letting him in. He walks in and looks around. I see the girls make a questioning look. They don't know how my dad looks. My sister walks over to my dad, putting her phone down.

"Dad what are you doing here?" She asks my dad confused and shocked. Alex looks at me upset. She knows about the issue with my dad. Shes giving my dad a glare. I walk over to Alex and I grab her hand and give it a squeeze. Allie, Tobin and Kling walk to my room and shut the door behind them. Alex let's my hand go and limps over to my bedroom door. She looks at me and nods. She goes in.

"I came to see you sweetie" my dad tells her stepping towards my sister. My sister steps back.

"Now isn't a good time dad" my sister tells me dad sternly.

"Let's go home, you've been gone long enough" he says reaching for my sisters hand. I step between them

"She's staying with me" I tell him with a straight cold face.

"You're not her father, step away Sage" he tells me, he's starting to get angry. I don't move. I've been here before. I've stepped between him and someone else before. I'm not moving at all.

"You've seen her and she's doing well. Get out of my house right now" I tell him. Not letting my guard down. Still between him and my sister. He looks over my shoulder and looks at my sister.

"I saw your game yesterday, I'm proud of you" he tells her sincerely.

"Thank you" my sister says. I can feel her presence more.

"She's doing what she loves. Don't pull her away from this. She's staying here got that?" I tell him. He looks at me with anger in his eyes but nods anyway. He walks to the door.

"Sage" he says turning to look at me with his hand on the handle. I look at him.

"Remember this, you might have gave her this opportunity but I was the one training with her day and night. You didn't help her, I did. You were never there for her." he says one last time. Walking out of my house and shutting the door. I look at my sister

"You okay?" I ask her. She looks at me with an expression I can't read. She walks to me and hugs me. I hug her back.

"I'm okay" she tells me pulling apart. I nod and I go to the bedroom. I open the door and I see Allie,Tobin, Kling, and Alex already looking at the door. I was about to say something but the doorbell rings. I swear if it's my dad. I open the door and I see Carli.

"Hey" she grabs me and hugs me.
"I just saw your dad" she tells me, letting go of me. And grabs my face.

"You okay?" She asks me worried. I nod. She let's go of my face. I let her in, and she walks to my sister. She engulfs her in a hug. I hear someone clear their throat. I look outside the door. Its Moe.

"Hey Moe, come on in!" I tell her ushering her inside. She gives me a hug and she turns around and sees Kling. She runs up and hugs her. I close the door and lock it. I'm not expecting anyone else. Alex walks up to me and embraces me in a hug.
