Chapter 38

Alex and I are getting ready to head out but we are waiting for my sister to get home. She's getting a ride from Lindsey. She wanted to stay back and hang with the team a little. I'm in the living room icing my ankle a little bit. I have a bruise from a slide tackle from Kelly. It ain't bad but you gotta be safe. The doorbell rings. I put the ice bag on the counter and walk to the door. I look in the peephole, and I see Mykayla. With Lindsey, Sam, Tobin, Kling, Kelly and Allie. I open the door to let them in

"Guess this will be a full house tonight" I tell them as they walk in

"You bet we're staying tonight too!" Kelly yells as she jumps on the couch.

"Great, just great" I tell them disappointed but joking about it.

"Nice Crib SJ" Sam tells me admiring the room.

"Thanks Aus, hey there's snacks in the bottom cabinet and La Croix in the fridge. I have an inflatable mattress in my closet. You may use it. Please don't make a mess and use the trash bin for trash please." I tell them. I know Kelly and Kling can be messy eaters. They give me thumbs up and smiles

"We'll try Sage, but we can't promise anything. Also where's Janice?" Kelly asks me getting up from the couch, and Sam quickly takes the spot.

"In my room" I tell her. I walk to my kitchen to take out some fruit and cut some. Knowing they shouldn't eat all junk food. Eat fruit too, I know they will.

Alex PoV

"Janice" I hear a familiar voice whisper. I turn around and I see Kelly.

"Worms!" I run to her and jump on her.

"Going on date huh?" Kelly asks me smirking as we pull apart.

"I am, hopefully she likes it. She took me out last time and also thanks for helping her pull that off." I tell Kelly, we walk to the bed and sit looking at each other.

"It was really her idea, I just helped set up. So what are your plans?" She asks me curiously.

"She's been talking about wanting to go to this new restaurant, so I'm taking her there after we go ice skating" I tell Kelly. She nods.

"How's it going between you two?" She asks me, we lay back and stare at the ceiling.

"She's great! She really is. She's really sweet and caring, she such a good cook! And the relationship she's trying to build with her sister. She's awesome honestly. She's even better player too. I honestly think she'll be a challenge for me but that's what I like." I blabber to Kelly. I can talk to her about these things. She's known about every relationship I've been in. She gives me a smile

"I've missed you talking about someone like that. She makes you happy, I can tell. On this note... has Servando texted you?" Kelly asks me. Bringing up my Ex boyfriend. I haven't talk to him in 2 months. We broke up a year ago.

"He's texted me but I just leave him open, why?" I ask her as I sit up, and she sits up to face me.

"He's signing with Orlando City" Kelly tells me seriously. Great I'll be living in the same city and playing in the same stadium with my Ex Boyfriend Servando.
