Chapter 59

"Let me carry you"

"Baby no, it's not that bad. It's okay, as much as I would like you to be my knight and shining armour, you are also hurt and healing" I tell Tobin as we walk inside the house, she sighs nodding and kisses my temple. We walk in, and she goes to the room to change into comfy outside clothes. I walk outside to the grill and set it up. Once again Lindsey and Sonnett are bringing the meat. I walk back into the house and I see the kids laying on the floor being attacked by Copper. I walk around the couch and go to my room. I see Tobin on the bed looking at her phone. She looks back up to me

"Can we get another dog?" She asks me, with hope in her eyes.

"Tobyyy" she gives me a sad pout. Ugh, I can't say no to her sad face.

"Fine" I tell her. She gets up and cheers in her adorable awkward dance. I walk over to her and I wrap my arms around her torso, she wraps hers around my neck. After a min hug, we pull away but not to much. Still in each others arms.

"I don't know what we are or what we are doing, but I want you to know that you make me so happy. I always feel safe when I'm with you, and no matter what I'm always having such a good time with you." She tells me looking into my eyes. I listen to every word she says, and it just makes my heart beat fast by the second. She doesn't stop there.

"And those beautiful kids, Conner and Savannah. I always want to be around them, I love those kids as if they were my own. I love taking them to soccer games or just evening walks at the park, I love playing video games with them and sitting down doing homework with them even through I'm not thrilled about the English homework they will be receiving when they are older." She tells me making me chuckle at the end. I bring my hands up to her face, I pull her in for a passionate kiss.  I feel her hands making their way to my hips. She brings me closer to her, to which our bodies are molding together. Her lips are my addiction. (Strange addiction? 😂😉). We pull away, but staring into each others eyes.

"Don't ever leave me" I tell her as my lips ghost over hers.

"Not going anywhere, you're my home" she tells me and brings me in for a kiss. We smile into out kiss as we pull away.

"Come on Love, let's get this Bbq started" I tell her, and on cue we hear car doors being shut outside. We walk to the living room hand in hand. We let go, and I walk to the front door. Everyone got here at the same time. Except for Richard and Valarie. Sonny running to the door, and I chuckle and let her in. Everyone starts walking in, each one of them hugging me as they walk in of course. Krashlyn being the last ones, Ashlyn brings me into a hug and whispers in my ear.

"I'm sorry about Alex, and I'm really happy for you and Tobin" she tells me, she pulls away.

"It's okay Ash, and thank you" I tell her, and she gives me a smile. I close the door and we all head to the backyard where the kids are playing with Copper. They greet all the girls.

"Hey babe, I'm go to the shed and get some more chairs" Tobin tells me walking up with Ashlyn. I nod and I go to the counter to grab the shed keys from the key hook. I hand them to her. She walks out with Ash. I hear the door bell ring, and I walk over. I look through the peephole. Richard and Valerie are finally here. I open the door.

"Hey Valarie, and Richard. How are you guys?"

"We're doing good, thank you for inviting us" Richard tells me and I let them in. Valarie greets me by a hug, and he kisses my cheek.

"The girls are all here, Valerie you are going to love them!" I tell her excitedly and she starts to get all giddy too. We walk out the backyard.
