Dinner with my grandparents was so much fun. They had so many great stories about my dad as a kid. I still can't believe I called him dad. At first it was just to get Blaise out of the hot seat. He didn't do anything wrong and my dad was being way too extra, I had to do something. But then after I said it, It felt.... Good. He is my father after all and I know that he would have been here had he known about me. I do need him to calm down though, My mom is strict enough, I don't need someone hovering over my every move.

After dinner, my mom took Blaise and Lennox home and I went home with my dad and grandparents. Tonight is the first night that I'll be staying overnight at his house.

Over the past few days in my spare time, I had been working on photo albums for them. When we got back to the house I ran upstairs to change and I grabbed the albums. When I got back downstairs everyone was sitting on the front porch. I went out and sat down on the porch, leaning up against the railing.

"What's that you have there?" My grandfather asked.

"I made you guys a photo album. I figured you might want to have some pictures of me growing up." I said handing one to my grandparents and one to my dad.

"You sweet girl." My grandmother smiled opening the book.

My dad flipped through a few pages and his eyes began to tear up.

"Are you always this emotional?" I asked laughing.

"No." He said wiping his eyes on his arm. "Special circumstances." He smiled.

My phone buzzed on the porch next to me. It was a text from Trevor.

Trevor: We need to talk.

I've been trying to talk to you all week.

Trevor: I'm sorry, I just needed some time to think.

About?

Trevor: Whether or not I could be friends with you.

And?

Trevor: Watching you with him is going to hurt me, but staying away from you is killing me. I still want you guys to come out on the boat tomorrow, We will be back in the morning.

" Is that Blaise?" Dad asked

"No, Trevor. They are coming back tomorrow, he wants us to go out on the boat."

"What do you want to do?" He asked.

"I'd rather stay here and do the BBQ, but what about fireworks?"

"I thought we could take a ride to that abandoned beach you keep sneaking off to and set some fireworks off there."

I eyed him for a second. "You just want to know where it is, don't you?"

"You're damn right." He smiled.

"Fine. What should I tell Trevor?"

"You can invite them if you want to."

We made other plans since we didn't think you guys would be here. We are having a BBQ at my dads, you guys can come if you want.

Trevor: I see. You are calling him Dad now?

Yeah, Problem?

Trevor: No problem. I'll see what my parents say.

K.

Trevor: I miss you. I heard a song that made me think of you. Two of them actually, I'm going to send them to you. I'd like to try them in the studio with you if you are still up for it.
