I woke up to the sun smacking me right in the face. Lennox wasn't in her bed which was odd since she usually sleeps in until 11 am. I grabbed my phone from my nightstand and couldn't believe it was after 1 pm. That music fest kicked my butt. I really needed to get out of bed and take a shower but my entire body was sore and I had zero motivation.

I glanced over at the mural that Blaise had drawn and smiled to myself. I can't even imagine how long that must have taken him to do, It was absolutely beautiful. He put so much thought into it and added everything that I loved. The longer I looked at it, the more hidden images I found.
I decided that no matter what I felt for Trevor, I was going to have to bury it as deep as I could. Blaise deserved better and I was going to give him that, I only hoped that Trevor would understand.

I finally managed to convince myself to get up and get moving. As I stood in the shower letting the hot water rinse away the dirt and glitter from yesterday, I thought about what Blaise and I had talked about last night. We sat outside until almost 2 AM catching up on what happened over the last few days and we talked about his idea for my birthday party. It was a great idea in theory, but I had no idea how we would pull it off.

The party was a good start, but I had my doubts about whether the effects would carry over once the party ended. I had an idea but I knew I would need help in order to pull it off. I got dressed, and headed downstairs to grab something to eat and to round up my friends.

I made some coffee and ate a banana while I waited for my waffles to toast. I sent a mass text out asking everyone to meet at my house in an hour. Just as I sat down at the table, Blaise and Lennox walked in.

"Welcome to the land of the living." Lennox said as she sat down next to me.

"Hey gorgeous." Blaise kissed my cheek and leaned against the counter.

"Where are you guys coming from?"

"My house, you were in a coma so we went to play some video games."

"So, what's this meeting about?" Lennox aked reaching over and stealing a waffle from my plate.

"I'll tell you when everyone gets here, I was going to eat that by the way."

"My bad, want it back?" She said opening her mouth, exposing the chewed up waffle.

"That's disgusting."

Trevor pulled up and when he got out, I saw that he was carrying two boxes of pizza and soda.

"Oh thank god, you're off the hook."

I got up to let Trevor in and when I came back Blaise was sitting in my seat. When I tried to scoot behind him to get to the other chair he pulled me into his lap. I waited for Trevor's jaw to tighten or his fists to clench, instead he smiled and winked at me. I was thoroughly confused by his reaction. The petty part of me wanted to see how far I could push him until I got a reaction out of him. But this is what I wanted right? To be with Blaise without any interference from Trevor.

James and Amberlee pulled up next. I smiled at how cute they were, walking up to the door holding hands.

"Hey guys! How was the music festival? We saw your video from last night, how crazy was that!?" Amberlee said giving me a hug. "How did you even end up on stage?"

"The band contacted us and asked us if we wanted to do one song during their set, but it had to be an 80's song since they are an 80's cover band." Trevor said.

"And you chose that song?" She asked wrinkling her nose.

"What's wrong with Total Eclipse of the Heart? I love that song!" I glared at her.
