The school bell rang at Goldenrod Elementary School. The doors were rushed open as kids started sheering as they ran out, finally relieved of school for the day. Parents outside the school were waiting as one by one slowly left with their children. Nate stood by the school gate with his Blaziken standing tall and proud beside him. He noticed most kids already left and only a few remained, soon.

"Hey where did Corvis go?"

He waited and waited and soon was the only one left. He walked up to a teacher who was about to close the gate.

"Miss Kaoru?" He asked, getting her attention.

"Oh! Mr.Destrum, wait how come you're still here?"

"Corvis never came out today. I was waiting for almost an hour, have you seen him?" He said as the teacher gave a shocked look.

"Wait he didn't? I'm pretty sure I saw him left the class and- oh dear," she said, realisation striking her face, "I think I know why," she said as Nate raised an eyebrow

"Huh?"

Meanwhile, Corvis was deep in the school backyard where many pokemon such as Sentrers and Hoothoot roaned around. He was sitting down behind a tree with his head down.

" *sniff* *sniff* stupid, arm," he said as he tried to hold back tears. He lifted his head up to wipe away his tears.

"Ken" he heard. He looked up, to see a Blaziken on one of the branches. The Blaziken then leapt down and knelt down to Corvis.

"Good job Scor," Corvis heard as he turned around the tree to see his father walking up to him. Immedietly, he reached his arms out and grabbed for him, Nate pulling him in a tight hug as Corvis let it out.

"There, there," he comforted as he oat Corvis' back.

"Your teacher told me what happened,"
Nate said as he backed up, staring into Corvis' teared eyes.

"I-I couldn't even throw a pokeball, they- they made fun of me! Called me a *bleep* loser," he said as Nate's eyes widened.

"Woah! Woah there, first of all, never, say that word again," he started. " Your mother will kill me," he muttered before looking back af Corvis.

"And second of all, you're not. You are never a loser. Losers are weak, you're strong...see?" He said as he held up Corvis' right arm. "You survived this, means you can survive anything, Corvis, do you know why we fall?"

"Fall?"

"Exactly, when someone pushes you down, having no choice but to stare up into their faces,"

Corvis gulped as he shook his head.

"We fall, so that we can learn to get back up, to pick ourselves up, to show that we can't and will never back down"
