Corvis held his glass of tea in his hands, standing by the balcony, watching Sara battling her opponent with Vivi in front of her. He watched as Sara thrusted her arm forward, her blue cape swaying, yelling out a move as Vivi launched spheres of dark energy towards her opponent's Nincada. The spheres made contact as the Nincada fell over.

"Nincada!"

"Nincada is unable to battle, Eevee is the winner so victory goes to Viscountess Sara Callister!" the referee yelled as Corvis smiled. He walked back into the ballroom as he waited for Sara. As he did, he kept bringing his hand up as he tried to pull the collar for the suit he was wearing; a black tuxedo with a dark blue undershirt.

"Damn these choking clothes," he said as he finally decided to unbutton the first two buttons, getting his neck free as he felt relaxed, finally being able to breathe without being restrained by the collar.

"Corvis!" he heard as he turned around to see Sara as she ran towards him. She was about to speak up until she saw the unbuttoned collar.

"Sorry you had to come in with me, you could always just leave you know?" she said, knowing how much Corvis hated wearing these suits.

"Look it's fine, this was bounded to be a long day anyway, but why didn't you tell me that the Oldale and the Rustboro Chateau was different from the others?" Corvis gave Sara a stare with one eyebrow raised as she laughed nervously

"Well, I totally forgot about that. Oldale and Rustboro were recommened citites for new trainers so the chateau works differently there," Sara explained

It was true. Oldale and Rustboro Chateaus had a system where trainers could randomly challenge other trainers in order to get higher ranks. It was that simple but not anymore.

"So now the chateaus that you'll be entering will have a tournament-based system?"

"Yeah. There will 4 rounds in total. One battle per round. I only managed to get through the third round. There will be one more rounds before the final match then if I win that match, I'll become a Countess," Sara said as Corvis almost choked on his drink

"Wait so you had to battle three rounds with only two pokemon?"

"Mmhmm," she mumbled

"Won't that give your opponents the upper hand?" he asked as Sara smiled. She reached for her back and pulled out, not one, but three pokeballs as Corvis' eyes widened.

"Wait wha-? Did you catch a pokemon when I slept in?"

"Nope, I knew I was gonna have trouble with only two pokemon with me so I called home this morning and asked for one of my pokemon that I always keep," she said as she put away two pokeballs. "She'll be an unexpected surprise for my opponents," she said

"Really? What pokemon is it?"

Sara giggled as she put away the pokeball too.

"It'll be a suprise, for now let's just enjoy ourselves, I have a bit of free time before my next match starts," she said as Corvis sighed and went along, still curious about her third pokemon. They looked through the paintings as they strolled past by them. Corvis noticed a painting of a man with a large brown beard, again with golden crown sitting on top of his head.

"King Adamas Rory, the 10th king of Hoenn," Sara said as Corvis noticed a pokemon beside Adamas. It looked a like a large sword pokemon with with a purple eye by it's hilt. It had a large black and purple slash as arms with one free, and the other one holding a large golden shield.

"What's that pokemon?"

"If I'm not mistaken, it's an Aegislash. Aegislashs were sometimes considered mythical pokemon as they are the ones who seeks those worthy as a king in Kalos tale, but in this regions it's slightly different," Sara explained
