"So you're sure you're fine now?" Corvis' mother asked in a worried tone through the screen. Still dressed in hospital clothes, Corvis was sitting down in a booth in a hospital where patients could contact anyone using the video phones available. His back was still bandaged as he kept moving around. He used his left, uninjured arm to hold the phone while staring at his mother.
"Like I said it's been 3 days, the doctors said that I can get released soon, the sooner I'm out and the sooner I can get the next gym badge," Corvis said with a voice filled with determination. His mother just sighed at his enthusiaism. It was then she noticed something, she kept looking around, trying to see if there was anyone behind Corvis.
"What's wrong mom?"
"Hey, where's Sara and your friends?" his mother asked, noticing that his usual companions weren't there.
"Oh, since I still need to be here for a while, I told them it's best that they go ahead and join the Battle Cheateau tournament since all I'm here for are gym battles," Corvis replied as his mother gave a disappointed look.
"Corvis honey, you're in Hoenn, you should've tried something new as well," his mother advised as Corvis sweatdropped.
"Ehh.....I don't think I want to," he said, dreading the idea of those tight suits again after last time. His mother sighed at his stubborness, and smiled
"Oh alright, it is you're journey after all, stay safe alright," she said as Corvis nodded
"Will do,"
"Alright I have to go now, love you,"
"Love you too mom," Corvis said as he hung up and the screen turned black. He sighed and left the booth. He went up to the floor of his room. He slid the doors opened and immedietly lied down on the bed, stretching slowly, not wanting to reopen his wounds. He yawned as small tears formed in his eyes.
"This is boring as heck," he said as he sat straight up. On the table, were a bunch of food that Sara and the others had bought him the previous day just in case if the hospital food wasn't enough for him.
"Wonder how Sara and the others are doing," his eyes widened at the thought of Sara. He remembered the day when he first woke u, the day when he and Sara almost ki....kis-
His face turned red of embarrasment. Ever since that day, he didn't know why, but Sara kept coming back to his mind, the memory of what happened and what would've happened is Chloe didn't interrupt.
"Arceus dammit, why am I feeling this now," Corvis muttered with a red face
"Achoo!" Sara gave out a suprisingly cute sneeze as she wiped her nose with a handkerchief before putting it away. She was dressed in her usual white dress as she, Chloe and Ethan were all standing in a line to get into the halls of the Chateau.
"Having a cold huh?" Ethan asked as Sara shook her head.
"I don't know, I felt alright the whole day,"
"Maybe someone's talking about you," Chloe joked as they all laughed a bit.
The line was quite long and there were security guards standing at the entrance of the halls. Body scanners were placed there, scanning each person as they walked pass by.
"What's with all this added security anyway?" Ethan asked
"They were all saying that there were reports of Diorets pills being smuggled into Lavaridge few days ago, they decided to upload the security just in case if anyone was using them in their pokemon to get an advantage," Chloe explained
