"I have a stupid idea." Emma said with a smirk on her face. She turned her head so we both stared at each other laying on the bed.

"You wanna be my-" she did quotes with her fingers for the next word.

"Boyfriend?"

"Emma ... what're you suggesting? Didn't I literally just come out as homo to you." I yelled at her confused, but quickly covered my mouth so my sister didn't hear from across the hall.

I leaned in closer and repeated what I said in a whisper. "What are you saying?!" I asked. We couldn't date. I mean, we could, but like didn't I literally just tell her I don't really like girls anymore. And that my next door neighbor is my love interest.

"I have a plan. To keep everyone from knowing." The curly headed girl explained. She looked around my room as if anyone was in here even though no one was. She did it a second time to confirm the coast was clear... not? Sure why?

"I'm kinda scared to ask after you literally just sarcastically asked me out seconds after coming out." I rolled my eyes at her to show my annoyance but curiosity. I mean it couldn't be that bad.

"But you see jisung, that wasn't sarcasm. There were quotes around the word boyfriend for a reason." She smirked as if saying 'wink wink you get it, Ji?'

Hell no! I had no clue what she was talking about. I just say that with a stupid facial expression and stated at her, occasionally raising my eyebrows so that she'd get the hint I'm confused af.

"Jisung we should act like we're together. Everyone is expecting that result at some soon. And I mean it's right before winter break so hopefully we'll just need to play it off this week and get it over with. And maybe you could tell Minho it isn't real and start developing with him." She suggested.

I turned my shoulder to see Minho's window, I couldn't see much but a faint figure at the keyboard since the frost on the window made it all blurry. "I cant tell Minho what we're doing. It would hurt his heart that I couldn't just be honest." I stated turning back to Emma.

"Ji you're already hiding so much from us. From them, I should say. Why not just tell one truth?" She suggested. "Emma my truth is we're dating. They'll believe it. I mean it was your idea too." I voiced back. Hopefully she'd understand.

Emma looked almost guilty for a moment. Had I snapped too hard? Did I say something painful? Was it her sensitivity?

She looked up. "I know this'll be hard but I'll help you through it." She leaned up toward me and placed her hands against my cheeks to tilt my face to the side. I felt a small peck against my cheek and honestly i didn't think much of it, just smiled shyly and giggled a bit. It tickled for a moment until I touched my fingers to it to fade.

"I won't kiss your lips. Saving your first kiss for the hoe next door." Emma laughed for a moment. I couldn't help but laugh along. But mine wasn't a full hard laugh, it was rather embarrassing and silent. I felt blushing against my cheeks too.

"You really like him though... don't you?" She asked. Her eyebrows were tilted to make her expression soft and gentle. if I did like girls then man. I'd kill to be with her. She's always been there.

"So much about him is just... perfect. I mean who wouldn't. He catches all the girls attention at school and always gets the seniors jealously. I just fit in with the tons of kids that like him. I'm nothing special." My eyes trailed away from her green gaze and toward the window. No sign of Minho, just Sooni in the window flicking her tail.

"But that's not the case. There's so much different about you." She shot out in rebuttal. Obviously she didn't feel the same way. But there was nothing different! I was another typical high school kid with a crush on everyone's lover boy Lee Minho.

"Well for one, you've lived here since birth and he's always been there for you. Literally. Name one event he didn't go to." She smirked at me in silence. "Yea exactly, Ji. You're his one and only."

"That means nothing. I mean we met you when we were still 5. That's only a year or two after we started hanging out together. Or knew each other existed as neighbors." I stated. So yea we knew each other since almost birth but what does that mean. Everyone's different ages in high school and likes Minho. Even freshmen fall for his handsome looks.

"You're also one of the few who knows he's bi. And you're a guy. Maybe he'll wanna give it a chance to try something knew.-"

"That for sure is false. He mentioned there was a guy he liked who was perfect. Which isn't me if you didn't know. And that he was straight. But I told him I was asking about how he knew his sexuality for a friend, so he thinks it's Felix. Which made me think that if he knew all these little details then it had to be Felix!" I exclaimed. If Minho liked me then I'd either be about to jump off a bridge or the last person alive with him.

"No matter how much I'd love him or even try to show it, he'd never see it." I voiced out to Emma. There was no way .

"We'll tell him that we're 'dating' at lunch tomorrow along with everyone else. We have to make it seem realistic so if I wanna hold your hand or vice versa then do it. And only cheek kisses for now. I have my heart set on someone for you to have your first kiss with ...

and possibly someone to take my own."
