before i move you guys on to this last chapter, i just wanna say thank you so much for all the love on this story. i was always a terrible writer and english wasn't my strong subject, but thanks to this story i've been able to grow as a writer and express myself in a new way. stray kids is something that means a lot to me and i wanted to express it through this. 🤍

"x = 9" i answered to myself after what seemed like hours of writing equation after equation. a sigh of relief escaped me when i realized this was the last problem in a heavy packet of endless calculus. and i thought pre-calc was bad, but calculus 2 is hard. and i'm not sure how i do it.

"you overwork yourself too much, babe." said a familiar voice the next approaching from behind.

that's not my real name, but i've learned to respond to it when minho calls for me as he was now. but i really just go by ji nowadays. i felt two arms wrap around my neck and a face meet my shoulder , making me put my pencil down and lean back into the embrace.

"i know. but im almost done. and we can do whatever you want afterwards. i promise." i said with a soft peck of the lips to my boyfriends cheek.

months have passed at this point although it feels like minutes. today is august 10. this is my summer packet for junior year. and that's my boyfriend, minho... although he swears we're engaged now that i've been living with him for god knows how long.

"don't take too long, we have to make it in time for the sunset and then back for the group. but i'm just gonna handle some of the final boxes with my mom while you wrap things up, alright love?" minho explained. i nodded in response.

what he's referring to? many things. we had a busy day. it was later in the afternoon and minho wanted to make it to the park for a bit before coming back here for everyone to come over for a fire this fine summer night.

but right now everyone besides me was moving over the final boxes to minhos house from my childhood home. we had been given full custody to ms.lee and our parents are out of scene. i stay with minho and kat and ms.lee just have this amazing bond unlike she ever did with our mother.

as for minho and i, nothing but love. the only time we argued was when i wanted his side of the bed and he refused to give it up. let's just say he won...

we spent every night together.

i wrapped up the work i had to complete for the summer at minhos desk in which he usually used to write music. he told me we could write a song together soon so i'm excited about that.

another mixtape for the bunch, if that's what we'll even call it. maybe we'll leave that for minho original content. although he's stopped numbering them... giving them more original names .

he also taught me how to dance. let me tell you hes amazing at it despite claiming he doesn't dance. i guess he doesn't slow dance, more original choreography he does with felix and hyunjin (who also attend dance class).

changbin also said we're getting married...? like- him and felix are gonna get married and so are minho and i? apparently he just found out we've pretty much been engaged since december 25 but oh well. i'm still just a dumb 16 year old so no marriage yet.

chris moved away recently . i mean he is about to enter an important music production collage so i'm not surprised hes starting to settle sooner than later.

jeongin came home for the summer from america and his english skills are insanely improved. and he brought us some goodies too. candies and snacks only in the states.
