I think it's gonna be kind of strange. Just me and Minho . Both confused homosexuals with feelings for each other, not allowed to date because of my stupid reasons.

But something told me I'd enjoy this Christmas anyways. I mean it's just a week or two. What could possibly go down between us?

———————————

We drove in his small white car for almost two hours, stopping at a small store to pick up lunch and a few other things we'd need to stay the week. Some yoo-hoo boxes, of course. who goes camping without yoo-hoo? sure it's like chocolate water but... it's kinda addicting .

once we arrived his mother helped us unpack and gave the tightest hugs to both of us. "call me if you need anything , ok guys?" she informed us.

minho, of course, rolled his eyes with a smile and walked into the cabin beside me, yelling back a "love you mom" before we shut the door. inside, it smelt like dirty wood and strange blankets , but it was minho's favorite place to get away to.

i had been here once as a toddler but never again since. he ran right to the two twin beds and claimed the one away from the window. "ha. now you gotta deal with the cold" he explained.

clever dumb ass. i threw a bag on him and he started to laugh.

————————

we took a while to settle down and unpack and eventually dinner time came. we started simple on the first night with lunch meat sandwiches . mine consisted of turkey, mayo, a potato roll, and salt and vinager potato chips. his was ham and cheese microwaved so it was hot.

"so. what should we do to start the trip?" minho asked me, finishing his sandwich and seeming to pout as if wishing he made more.

"i don't know. maybe a game or a sit outside?-

"BOTH." minho hollered out , confusing me by the sudden emphasis on my suggestion but let's see what he had to offer.

"we could go on the roof actually, it's safe and flat up there, and since we're on a hill it's close to the ground!" he explained.

and so that's where we headed. up to the light of a million stars and in the freezing cold. "you know it's like... 30 degrees out?" i explained to him.

"oh we can go back in the-"
"NO ITS OK..." i stopped him. "it's just kind of cold up here with the wind..."

yea i obviously just started some stereotypical moment and we're gonna end up like snuggling and falling off the roof soon... well... not exactly.

minho leaned his head on my shoulder and grabbed my arm, giving it a nice hug to warm himself and possibly me.

"better?" he asked

"yea. better."
