Dirty shower

I was going upstairs to take the elevator to my office when i felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. Taking out the phone, i noticed a message from Hardin, which was saying

''Take care of yourself and the baby. Love you''

This message made me smile like crazy. I had the biggest smile in the world and not only a smile i also had tears under my eyes which were always there in the past 3 days. I made it to the room i was working, noticing someone was there.

''Hello?''

''Hi Tessa''

''Oh Mr Paul, omg i didn't see it was you.'' my heart was racing like crazy

''I'm sorry, i scared you,'' he had a small smile on his face

''No problem,'' i made it to my chair putting some stuff in it. ''Do you need something Mr Paul?''

''Um i...'' after a long pause he answered ''yeah i will give you some papers in 30 minutes, can you sign those for me?''

''Yeah of course.'' i was looking down still with the smile on my face

''I see you are happy today Ms Young. May i know why?''

''Umm..'' i didn't know whether to tell him or not. i think he didn't even know about me being engaged. ''yeah i got engaged''

''Oh... congratulations. Who is the lucky guy?''

''You wont know him, he is not from here.''

''Oh ok then please come to my room after 30 minutes.'' he went out of my room and i was actually glad that i told him about my engagement. I didn't want the same situation that happened with Mike to happen again. the day went pretty fast, i did my job and cant say that i was feeling very well but i was able to work. At the end of the day i got a call from an unknown number

''Hello?''

''Tessa''

''Mom? omg i forgot that you were going to be here today. where are you?''

''I'm at the airport, i just landed.''

''Do you want me to come pick you up?''

''No honey, i don't want to trouble you. I just called to let you know that i'm in town.''

''Ok mom, i'm at work. So see you in an hour''

''Ok honey.'' i hung up the phone and continued doing my job. My mom didn't know about the pregnancy yet and it was going to be hard to keep it from her. I was pale and i needed to use bathroom more often then before. I felt like she was going to notice something. 

After the work  i texted my mom to know where she is staying at and went to her. Her hotel wasn't far from ours. I got another message which was from Hardin saying that he is in the hotel already and he had booked a table in a restaurant for a dinner for 3 of us. I was very happy to see my mom. Even tho she didn't know about my pregnancy i felt like she could help me anyways and besides i couldn't even choose a wedding dress myself. We were already at the restaurant. 

''So people... tell me, when did this happen?''  she asked the question and nearly forgetting that she might be asking about the proposal i thought she was asking about the pregnancy so i just went red and didn't know what to answer

''It was an old made decision,'' Hardin answered for me

''Yeah i got that by the place you took my daughter.'' A lot of good memories came to my mind when she mentioned that day

''I'm glad i could make her happy.'' Hardin said looking at me. I looked at him and pecked his cheek.

''Are you ready to order?'' a waited asked. We ordered the meal and it was time for drinks. My mom ordered a white wine, Hardin ordered a beer and i just ordered a water

''A water?'' my mom asked

''Yeah?'' it sounded more like a question

''ok...'' she looked at me confused. She knew that i never drink water during dinner. I always order wine with her so she got confused, which scared me a lot. We ate the dinner and came out of the restaurant.

''I never thought that there will be a day when your mom would talk with me nicely.'' Hardin said chuckling 

''I heard that,'' my mom said getting into the cab. We left her at her hotel and went to ours. We decided to take a shower together. Hardin was the sweetest person in the world after the news about my pregnancy. During the shower he caressed my tummy a lot, it was like he was feeling something inside if it. He knelled down and talked to it as if someone was listening. That scene was the best scene that i have every seen in my life. He came up to me and pecked my lips saying

''Your mom was so close to finding out the truth today''

''I know, i was actually waiting for her to say something and by this time i'm not even sure if she really didn't understand what was happening or she understood but didn't react''

''I think she didn't understand'' he said placing his hands on both sides of my waists. ''i mean that's not a small thing and she couldn't fake it the whole evening''

''Yeah you are right''

''Ok let me clean you up.'' we had a 'dirty shower' and went to bed

''I'm so happy that you and my mom finally talk to each other'' that made him laugh. He pecked my forehead and wished me good night. 

In the morning. I didn't have work today, so i decided to sleep off. But Hardin was being too noisy so he woke me up.

''Good morning sleepy head''

''Its like 10 am. How am i a sleepy head?'' we ate breakfast together and he went to work. I had shopping today with my mom so i told her to meet me near the mall. Going through the shops with her i saw someone whom i wouldn't like to see, especially not when i was shopping for a bridal dress...

Who did she see?

Did Tessa's mother understand that she was pregnant?
