"Bro, kumalma ka nga. Walang mangyayari sa asawa mo" pagkukumbinsi ni Joshua kay Venom.

"What if nakahanap siya ng mas better guy at ipagpalit ako?" Nag-aalala tanong niya sa mga kaibigan niyang nasa harapan niya.

"Look, bro, there's a difference between boy, guy and man, and those three choices you are her man. Why? Because you are the one she want to be married. You are the one she want to spend her life forever, so 'wag kang praning" mahabang litanya ni Zachary.

Natauhan naman siya sa sinabi ni Zachary.

Napalingon siya sa direksyon ni Krist at kapwa nagpipigil ng tawa ang tatlo. "I'm sorry to disappoint you but I have balls and they are so proud."

"Okay. Okay. I didn't say anything" pagsuko ni Krist at uminom ng wine.

"Let's just be happy and enjoy this day. Tomorrow will be your big day and you need to be look like fresh para hindi ka takbuhan ng fiancee mo" ani Joshua.

"Gago" tanging nasabi niya at tinungga ang wine glass na hawak niya.

"Bro, I just want you to take care of her. You know that she looks like my sister and as much as possible I don't want to see her crying again because of you" Zachary said.

"Yah. Yah, Iknow. Daig mo pa ang kuya niyang si Matthew."

Napatawa ito sa sinabi niya at napatigil din sa biglang pagdoorbell ng pinto. Tumayo siya saka tinungo ang pinto at hindi niya naiwasang hindi mapangiti dahil sa bisita.

"Oh! Matthew and Dirk, what's up?" Anito at binuksan niya ang gate ng bahay at pinapasok ang mga ito.

"Usual" sagot ni Matthew at tumawa.

Mas matanda lang si Matthew ng dalawang taon sa kanya at kahit gustuhin niyang tawagin itong Kuya ayaw naman nito dahil masyado daw nakakatanda kapag siya ang nagbibigkas.

"Hey, guys" pagpukaw niya sa atensyon nila Zachary at kapwa din napatayo ng makita si Matthew at Dirk.

"Hey! What's up, man? How's life?" Tanong ni Joshua sa mga bagong dating at as usual gano'n pa rin ang sagot ni Matthew.

Sabay na umupo sa isang sopa sila Matthew at Dirk. Parehas nagsikuha ng tig-iisang wine glass at sinalinan ng alak.

"So, I hope this is real now. No more fake news like what you did years ago" Matthew said while holding his wine glass.

"Yeah. This is real and the final. I can't see my self living and breathing without her and our child. I'm an asshole and I know that but that was me before. Now, I want to be a better husband" he said while looking straightly at Matthew's eyes.

He want him to know that he's serious, that he's not an asshole anymore. After a minute of staring at each other, Matthew smile like he get the main point of their conversation.

"I'm happy for that. I said before that no matter what happens 'wag nang makipagbalikan sa 'yo ang kapatid ko, but she still choose to stay beside you even if you raped her" Matthew said.
