“Where do you wanna go, Vincent? Do you want me to tour you?” I’m amaze she can endure the pain for the whole day or she’s just used wearing those? I don’t really care. Most girls here wears same shoe as hers, anyways.
It’s just four in the afternoon and my two subjects today were done. And now, I’ve got nothing to do and want nothing else than my bed and a rest. Hindi naman nakakapagod ang buong unang araw ko sa Pandora High but my eyes were tired glaring and rolling for stupids human form. I want peace of mind and ready myself for tomorrow. And I surely won’t get that peace if I stayed with this gabby girl. After all, Meisha texted me and she’s already waiting at the parking area.
“I’m going home,” walang gana kong sagot. Seryoso. After that non-stop-feeding-me-information lunch with her, palagi na siyang nakatabi sa’kin at wala ring tigil ang bibig niya sa pagkukwento. She’s a very talkative young lady, I may say. Irony.
“Why? It’s too early, Vincent. Let’s go on a walk first. Please?”
“But-”
“Meisha’s waiting for me. Gotta go.” I cut her off. Ganito siguro talaga dito sa Pandora, walk with your group and you’ll be safe from other monsters dancing in your proximity.
“Wait! Who’s Meisha?” Devy asked curiously catching my pace. I glance at her and turn my focus in front. We’re now heading the parking area.
“My dad’s assistant.”
“Oh.” Her mouth made an ‘O’ nodding her head. “But, why is she picking you up? You’re already a college student, Vincent. You have freedom to go on a ‘gimik’ so come with me and-”
“Devy,” I warned as I stopped from walking, facing her. She looked at me and pouted her lips. I shook my head and roll my eyes and start walking again. I saw Meisha few meters away from us, leaning against her red sports car with her arms crossed on her chest, staring at us emotionless. “Hey!” I greeted as soon as we reached her spot. She nodded once at me and shifted her gaze to Devy standing on my right side. I saw Devy stiffened and slowly walks behind me, probably hiding herself from Meisha’s cold stares. I can’t help but hissed.
I smiled mentally, still maintaining my pokerface in front of Meisha. The motormouthed young lady now pressed the brake pedal in front of Meisha.
