Chapter 49~ Call Of Duty and Babes.

Avalon's P.O.V

"Oh! You guys freaking suck!" I shout as I jump from the couch

Beverly rolls her eyes and River tosses the remote down.

We all decided to play Call Of Duty Black ops on the play station. Me and Aiden were on teams and River and Beverly were on teams.

Avery sat back and watched and laughed whenever I shot River or Bev.

"You don't even play this game. How are you fucking good at it!?" Beverly says and ran her fingers through her hair.

I've actually never played this game before, so I was surprised just like everyone else when I won leader board. Aiden was jealous because he came in second place but I find it kind of hot when a girl beats a guy at his own game.

"Nope. I want Avalon on my team, she is not gonna keep shooting my ass!" River says as he moves down on the couch beside me.

Aiden laughs, "looks like it's me and you Bev."

"And after this game, I want my best friend on my team," she says as she scoots against the couch.

~10 minutes later~

"Omg Aiden you fucking suck! That's why Ava was at the top because you suck major ass!" Beverly shouts as she ran her fingers through her hair.

She tosses her remote down and Aiden laughs.

"We won!" River cheers and gives me a high five.

"Guys, I'm gonna order pizza," Avery laughs as she exits into the kitchen, trying to get away from us crazy teens.

"Wow, butter cup. Never knew you could play like this," Aiden smirks at me.

"Beginners luck," I say and flip my hair over my shoulder.

"Alright," Beverly says and pulls me down on the floor with her, "she's with me now."

~10 minutes later~

"Bro, how the fuck--" River jumps up and ran his fingers through his hair.

He lost... again.

Me and Beverly bursts out laughing. We found it kinda funny that the guys were getting irritated because we kept killing them.

"Avalon killed me twenty times! Twenty fucking times! Nope, this is not fair, she's cheating," River says.

"How am I cheating?" I question. I would really like to know.

"Because you-- ugh... I don't know but your really good at this damn game," River stumbled.

I laugh. I've never played this game in my life and I won three times and always coming at the top of the leader board. Twenty kills and zero deaths.

What can I say? I was created for this shit.

The doorbell rang which made all of us turn that way.

"It's just the pizza," Avery says calming down out nerves.

I feel like we all out let a breath of relief.

"Have you guys ever played GTA?" I ask since I never had, but heard of the game.

"That's my all time favorite game!" Beverly gushes.

I playfully roll my eyes. Beverly isn't even a gamer.

"Avalon haven't played it at all," Beverly says as she looks at me.

River gasps and puts his hand over his heart, "I'm so heartbroken, Goldie."

"Babe, not everyone can experience that--" Beverly sentence was cut short when she realized what she just said.

Babe?

Beverly bites her top lip.

"Babe?" I question and give her a look.

Did i hear that correctly or is it just my ears playing tricks on me. I always thought my hearing was good but-

"Um..." River says, "we're dating guys."

My mouth drops. When was she gonna tell me her and River were dating. I was always so oblivious to their relationship, I didn't know I was that oblivious.

Beverly smiles at me sheepishly, "yea..."

"When the hell were you gonna tell me?" I shove her shoulder with a smile, "holy hell!"

Language much??

I'm glad that they're dating. They were meant to be together. River was a perfect match for Beverly but River was the lucky. You can't find someone as special as Beverly.

"Wow bro, didn't think you had it in you," Aiden smiles and hits Rivers back.

He blushed and ran his fingers through his hair.

Aww.

It was silent for a moment before Avery came back with two boxes of pizza.

I forgot she was even getting the pizza.

"Did someone die or something?" She questions noticing the awkward silence.

"Not at all," River says before opening a box of pizza and taking a slice.

"I think their all asleep," I whisper to Aiden.

After we played a few more rounds of Call Of Duty, we called it quits and decided to watch Netflix and eat meatlovers pizza.

Me and Aiden were cuddled on the long couch. River and Beverly were sleep on the love seat. And Avery was being a fifth wheel and decided to sleep on the single chair.

The house was dark, the only light coming from the tv.

He kisses my forehead, "let them sleep. We could always go up to my room if you want."

I could hear the smirk in his voice.

"I'm fine with being down here Aiden," I tell him so I could burst his bubble. I cover my mouth to prevent a laugh.

"Your such a tease butter cup."
