Pokemon Ultra Sun\ Moon: The Wrath of Ultra Necrozma, Stealer of Light

Chapter 27 Stakataka

A/N sorry for the long wait. My laptop took a dump. But after watching some of the anime, I got my groove back. I said "screw it. I can write on my phone"

Yours and Gladion's location was on MeleMele Island. Right around route 3. " I really hope this Ultra Beast isn't so ultra. They seem to cause nothing but trouble for Alola" you voiced your concerned. "I understand. But it is up to us to send it back home.  From what I remember, there were only a few recorded Ultra Beasts. My mom gave us some noted to refer to, so we should have the advantage" said Gladion. The route seemee peaceful and quiet. Tall rock structures loomed above. Spearow and Vullabys fluttered around.If you remembered, the meadow should be around here. "Can we go to the meadow Gladion. Just real quick, I promise" you told him. Yes, you had a UB to look for but it wouldn't hurt for just a minute. "I know you just want to roll around in the flowers" he said. "And? It's fun. You should try it with me. Come on just one roll" you tried your best to convince him. You stood in front on him and gave him your best Baby Doll Eyes. He tried to look away. "Just stop with the face and the eyes" he said almost blushing. "So that's a yes?" you asked. He sighed. "Just real quick" he agreed. You took and hand and practically ran the rest of the way there.

Entering the tunnel, on the other side was a meadow filled with yellow flowers. They were just as pretty as you remembered. There was something different. A huge stack of bricks lied in the middle. Was someone trying to build here? If so, where did they go. There was no one here besides you and Gladion. You moved on past the pile of bricks. Where were all the Pokemon? Oricorio? Butterfree? "Somethings wrong. You feel it too?" said Gladion. He was right but what was it? You couldn't enjoy rolling in the flowers with everything all amiss. "We have to fix it, whatever it is. Maybe our Pokemon can help" you said. You called out Sylveon. Gladion called out Silvally. It didn't take long for them to spot the culprit. Sivally started growling, which set off Sylveon. "What is it?" Gladion asked his partner. Silvally got in front of Gladion defensively. "That can't be good" you said. Gladion took Silvally's warning. He took you to a safer distance. Sylveon starting talking to whatever was out there. It sounded like a warning.

When everything became quiet again, the ground suddenly rumbled. You stood closely to Gladion, preparing to see something happen. Silvally howled,alerted. The stack of bricks was moving. Eyes suddenly opened all over it. "That's no pile of bricks" Gladion said. The things grew brick legs and stood up. "The ultra beast?" you assumed. "Perhaps. Although, there's nothing in these notes that resemble this thing" Gladion informed. That's great, so you two were up against this thing with nothing to go on. "Atleast we can guess it might be rock type if those bricks are really bricks" he analyzed. The new beast stepped forward. Its height and weight combine shook the ground with each step. "It wants a battle. Let's give it one" you said.

"Sylveon use Moonblast!" you went first. Sylveon charged up its attack and let its opponent have it. The bricks sharpened its defense with Iron Defense. Sylveon's attack wasn't very effective. "Sivally use X Scissor!" Gladion ordered. His Pokemon charged and attacked. It hit but still wasn't very effective. "We're missing something else. It must be another type besides rock" Gladion said. "I'm sure we'll figure it out. Sylveon use Quick Attack to jump on top of it!" you said. It Sylveon can do that, they perhaps you and Gladion can attack together or Sylveon can distract it. Sylveon used its speed and started to climb the the beast. However, the beast turned into metal and headbutted Sylveon. It was super effective. Sylveon went flying back. Silvally acted on its own. It went chasing after Sylveon. Silvally used the long clifts to climb upwards in order to jump and save Sylveon from colliding with the rocky clifts. Sylveon was badly injured. That thing must have some serious strength. Although, the size difference was pretty huge. Silvally gave your injured partner to you. "Thank you Silvally. You're such a sweetie like your trainer" you told it. It nodded but was more concerned about Sylveon. Silvally turned back around and raked its claws into the ground. It howled at the beast. You returned Sylveon into its pokeball. A trip to the Pokemon center will defiantly be needed after this. "Let's try changing into a different type. Silvally change into Fighting type. This for sure should give us the advantage" ordered Gladion. Silvally spines and tail changed color. "Now use Multi Attack!" Gladion cried. Silvally flared up a fighting type aura and charged. It slashes at the beast and did super effective damage. The beast took a few stumbling steps back before it regained its composure. Silvally seemed satisfied with its attack.

"We need your help Mudsdale!" you called on another Pokemon. Your giant Clydesdale came out. It reared up on its hind legs and neighed. The beast took this opening to attack. It used Rock Slide. Boulder started raining down on your Pokemon. "Mudsdale Iron Defense!" you called. "Silvally dodge" Gladion ordered. Mudsdale toughed out the attack with its iron armor. Silvally quickly evaded the attack. "I think this combo will work well. Fighting and Ground are both super effective. Let's attack together Gladion" you suggested confidently. He nodded. "Since Silvally is faster, I'll go first. Silvally use another Multi Attack!" he ordered. "Follow Silvally's lead and use High Horsepower" you cried after. Silvally took to the front and attacked. The beast was left open for another attack. Mudsdale continued the combo and connected a fierce High Horsepower kick. The beast fell onto its side. All the eyes on its body closed. It looked unable to get up.

"Looks like it gave up. But what now. It's not retreating" Gladion said. The beast just lies there in defeat. Maybe that attack hit harder than you two thought. Mudsdale trotted back to you but Silvally didn't leave its battle position. It wanted to make sure that thing wasn't going to move. Everything was quiet and tense. Gladion left Silvally to its better judgment. Not too soon after, the bricks began to move again. One of the arms rose up and unleashed a Rock Blast. Silvally's natural instinct was to dodge, leaving the way to us open. Thankfully, Mudsdale was quick on its hooves. It ran in fromt of us and used a well placed High Horsepower kick to shatter the boulder. You flinched as the boulder exploded into rocks and dirt. Gladion, off course, protected you from the debris as it rained down. The beast rose up to its feet and locked eyes with Silvally. Having enough of the battle, it summoned an wormhole and disappeared.

You all breathed a sigh of relief. You were glad you didn't have to result to using a Z move. But even with that kind of power, that pile of bricks had crazy defenses. "Let's go get our Pokemon healed up. Then if you want, we can come back" he said.  Of course. Pokemon were priority.

At the Pokemon Center, you healed up your team. Sylveon was as good as new. Sivally was pleased at Sylveon's recovery. It lovingly gave it a kiss with its tongue. Sylveon happily skipped around the Pokemon center. It kinda reminded you of yourself. Maybe you should set up a double date.

Return back to the meadow, you found the perfect slope to roll in. "Let's do it together Sylveon" you told it. Your Pokemon agreed. On the count of three you tossed yourself down hill and rolled amongst the flowers. It was fun and full of dizziness. You laughed the while way down. "Your turn Gladion" you told him. He looked down at where you were. "I'm okay" he said. You looked at Silvally, who had a brilliant idea. Silvally nudged Gladion down the hill. Gladion came rolling down, sending yellow petals into the air. It wasn't graceful since Gladion attempted to stop himself so many times. But gravity did its work. "Fun isn't it?" you smiled. Gladion stayed laying in the flowers " I wasn't expecting to roll down so fast" he said trying to prevent the world from spinning. "That's what makes it fun. Let's do it again. I can always hold your hand. Yea! Lets roll together" you said excited. "Do I have a choice?" asked Gladion. "No. Unless you want Silvally to help again" you said. He sighed.
