Joe's P.O.V.
Pippa's been gone for over five weeks and it is driving everyone crazy. Not even the fans know where she is. We've spread the news all over internet. Every police corps is on the lookout for her. There's nothing more we can do really, except to keep ourselves together. And we're managing. For the most part.

Kevin went back home of course to Danielle. It's October and she's pregnant. Her due date is somewhere at the end of January, start of February.

I gave Philippine a message and am now on my way to meet up with her in a cafe. To try and get my mind off things for a minute. I'm in serious need of a distraction right now.

Frankie announced her dead and has been loving his own life. Nick is sulking, not doing anything and not taking care of himself and his Diabetes. At least Frankie and our parents help me to keep Nick alive.

The band is now put on hold due to Kevin soon becoming a dad, Nick trying to kill himself and the whole Pippa situation. Basically everything that is tearing our family apart. Except for Kevin and Danielle's parenthood. That's a blessing to all of us. I can't wait to meet my niece or nephew. Kevin and Danielle had decided not to share the news of the sex yet, to everyone's annoyance.

Everyone want to buy gifts for the little one, but we can only buy unisex stuff, so it isn't weird if you buy girly stuff and it turns out to be a boy and vice versa.

I walk into the cafe where Philippine had agreed to meet up.

I don't see her, thinking I got here first, when I see a girl wave her hand. It's Philippine.

"Do you want anything to drink?" I ask her. She shakes her head. "I already ordered, but I didn't know what you would like. So I didn't order for you." I nod and place an order for a cup of coffee at the bar.

Once I get both our orders, I sit down in the booth with Philippine and hand her her coffee.

"How's life been treating you, Philippine?" I ask her. "For the last time, please call me Philip. Everyone does." She laughs. "Life has been good for me. Passed a few exams in college. My parents fought less this week, so that's a plus. And you know. My little brother with Cystic Fibrosis is not really getting any better. He really needs a new pair of lungs." She says.

"I'm sorry to hear that." We both take a sip from our coffees. Coffee always makes things better.

"And your life? I saw the social posts online about your little sister." She says.

I nod. "Yeah, she's been gone for exactly five weeks and three days. We still haven't got a clue where she might be. It's horrible." I shake my head, not knowing any other way to express my feelings right now in front of her.

She looks sad. "I know I'm going to lose my brother, but I know I'm not going to get him back. I can't imagine what it must be like for you." She tries to sympathize.

"She chose to go." I nod in response. "But it is no one's fault. Not even hers. We all took a part in her disappearance. I mean, why else would she go?" Philip nods.

It's only then that I notice the TV screen behind her. And only because a picture of my sister's face is on there. Philip notices my facial expression and sees I'm distracted. She turns towards the TV screen to hear people talk about Pippa and to look out for her. About how she's been missing for over a month. Nothing has been used, no credit cards, no train, metro or bus passes, she hasn't bought a plane ticket, nothing. No trace whatsoever.

I really admire her for how she's done it. She completely faded away. That is, if she is still alive. I hope she is. I don't want to find out she's dead without her knowing how much I love her. That must be why she left right? Like she didn't feel at home with us?

After her picture disappears, I turn back to Philippine. I motion towards the TV and open my mouth to speak, but I don't really know what to say.

"It's okay. Go be with your family. This is way more important. But you'll owe me another drink." She smiles, trying to lift my mood while holding up her cup of coffee.

I'm so glad I met this girl. "Thank you so much. I'll call you later for that cup of coffee." She nods and I get out of the booth to go home.

I make my way home quickly to find Nick, once again underneath a blanket with a depressed look on his face.

"Have you seen the news?" I ask him not bothering to check up on him first. "No, why?" He responds. I call for mom and dad to get in here. Frankie shows up as well. Even Danielle and Kevin emerge from the kitchen after mom. I had no idea they were here.

"What's going on?" Mom questions me as I flip through the TV.

I search for the news and click replay.

It starts playing and I watch it intently while getting a lot of questions I leave unanswered.

That is, until the news starts repeating the words about Pippa with her face on the screen.

Mom sits down, shocked that she is on the news. I can see they all hope that the news ends with her being found, but I know she's not. I just want to make them aware that the news spend time on Pippa to spread the news even further.

"How did you find this?" Kevin asks me. "I saw when I met up with Philip." I tell him. He knows who I mean with that, the others not so much. They don't question it though. All still busy processing the news item they've just seen.
