Kevin's P.O.V.
Dad ushered us into the car to go to the venue. First, we'll be doing sound check. After that, we'll get some spare time. Nick had woken up with a high, so he has had quite the attitude so far. This worked on everyone's nerves, because boy, is he annoying when he's high.

Nick tested an okay number before sound check, so he was good to go. We had to play four songs, two quicker ones and two slower ones.

During sound check, Frankie took it upon him to take Pippa out in front of us to dance. They even slowed during the slower songs. Leading her around like a real gentleman.

I remember when the both were younger. Pippa always coming over with a book in her hand asking me to read to her. I always obliged happily. I had a little trouble reading and she was one of the few who wouldn't get annoyed with me for reading too slow. She always listened to the story and always asked for more if I finished a chapter.

I smiled at the two as Pippa twirled around Frankie. We finished the four songs quickly, all wanting that break we were promised. Pippa and Frankie applauded as we finished up.

Nick and I took off our guitars and Joe put his mic on his stand and we all walk to the middle to bow like we would at the end of a show. Their clapping got louder, adding a few people of the crew for fun.

We walked back to the dressing room. Nick lay on the couch to catch a quick nap while Joe went to stuff his mouth with food. I chuckled and sat down to text Danielle. She is now three months pregnant with our child. It's a dream come true.

I don't even care if it's a boy or a girl. I would do everything for him or her and I would do everything in my power to give them the best childhood a child can have. I want them to be happy.

An hour before the show, I tested Nick while he slept. Didn't feel the need to wake him up. He deserves a little rest from the lows and highs. They are starting to affect him in the worst way possible.

He's tired, annoying, searching for fights, and hiding himself even more. He has barely talked to us since Joe's birthday and if he does, it's usually because he disagrees with something. It's like a nightmare, except I'm not going to wake up from this one.

Nick's meter beeps two times. He's off. He's a little low. I try to wake him by gently shaking him awake. "Nick, wake up for me for a second." Joe had gotten a juice for him and ready to give to Nick as soon as he's gotten up.

Nick wakes and I help him up to a sitting position. "Bad number?" He asks me. "Not really. A bit low. Just making sure you're alright to do the show." I tell him. He nods his head, but seems to regret the action.

"It feels like my levels are on the floor." He tells us and I feel sympathy for him.

He's got his head held low as he sips the juice. "Do you think you'll be able to do the show? Because if you are off, we'll reschedule." I know Nick isn't going to agree with him, but I need him to consider it if he feels this bad.

"Is he okay?" Mom walks in and sits next to Nick, seeing me crouched in front of him and Joe standing behind me with concerned looks.

"I'm alright mom. I'm just a bit low, but I feel lower than I am." Nick explains.

"Alright, if you're sure. It's okay if you feel under the weather." Nick's eyes turn a little angry. I put my hand on his knee to keep him from snapping at mom. He turns to me, ready to snap at me, but he keeps it to himself for now.

During the show he looks all right. He had two more juices and they lifted his spirits up. He didn't look as tired as he did two hours ago.

At the last song before we go off stage for the encore, he almost gives me a heart attack. He stumbles on stage. I see Pippa stand up from the corner of my eyes. She hadn't missed his stumble. Neither did mom. Joe did. He had his back facing Nick and he sang on like nothing had happened. I kept my eyes on Nick as we finished the song.

We ran off stage and Pippa stood ready with his kit to test. Nick sticks out his finger for her to poke. She does and catches a droplet of blood on the strip. The meter fails to read it though. She pokes his finger once more. This time the meter reads the blood correctly and she gets a number. He's low again.

"You really don't get a break, do you?"  I ask him sadly. He shakes his head. "I'm still feeling the high from this morning." He shakes his head. His body is slightly trembling as he takes a juice from the minibar. He has trouble standing back up from his kneeling position and I run to his aid. He thanks me and walks over to the couch by himself.

Joe calls shotgun on the shower and enters the bathroom with clean clothes as soon as he could. Mom and dad are somewhere in the building. Pippa and Frankie are with us.

"Did you guys like the show? This is like the first time you saw us perform after our break." Nick says excitedly, well he tries to sound excited.

Both break into wide grins. "You were amazing. I had so much fun watching you guys!" Pippa says. I'm glad she enjoyed today. I know days like these are usually really busy, especially if Nick's levels are off like today happened. We're lucky his low was manageable today after his high from this morning.

What do you think is going to happen next? Trust me, it'll be drama!
