Chapter 30 part 1: What a day

Jayson POV

That girl was going to be the death for me.
My mate was so gorgeous, every time we touched I felt the spark. Her lust was evident and almost overpowering mine.
Her naked body for only my view I'll never forget the images.
Like he would let me, Volker that brat.

If I didn't push her away, I would have marked her and she would have hated me again.

Same as always. No concrete answer.

Someone tried to reach me through the mind link quite hurried.
So I opened our link.

"There are rogues attacking from the North and we need back-up. I'm alone with a newbie. Five rogues already got past us."

The declaration wasn't welcomed.

"Shit!!"

I swore to the whole world to hear.

"Let's get to the North border and cut through the pack. Some rogues got past the patrolling."

My order made a bunch of warrior shift. Only Kam stood there frozen. I gave him a knowing look and he came back to us. His wolf was at the surface and bolted towards the location without caring about his clothes nor anything that surrounded.

"Kam! What's wrong with you"

He was so agitated, it made me worried. Keeping his pace was challenging but I was still a full alpha.

"Briah and Josh are alone at home."

I forgot this detail. Their house was full north and isolated. The rogues will surely pass by their clearing.
F*ck !? We had to hurry. Briah couldn't protect herself in her state.

After a few minutes, crossing the pack and scarring most of my people we arrived at the North section of my territory. We were instantly hit by the odor of blood. The heavy blood was calling us. Kam flinched and accelerated. He was scared and so was I.
