"Babe it's the 4th of July I'll be crazy if I don't go see my kids, especially after just up and leaving them. I'm sorry but you'll just have to be mad at me for the day cause we both know that won't last forever." Zina was bugging about the fact that I was about to spend the entire day with Maci and the kids. Like all the trust she once had for me went out the window after meeting Maci and my family.
"Yeah, I guess I'll be upset, have fun with your family, but before you go I just need some money to go shopping, don't think I'll be spending the whole day in this house all by myself." This girl was a piece of work, but I loved her with everything in me, she helped me get through things when I left Atlanta, she helped me work out my anger and I would do everything to show her that I'm thankful because I honestly didn't think I could change and stay this way, she was the one who got me to come back to Atlanta because I really wasn't gonna come back. I pulled out a stack of cash from my safe, handing it to her, "Love yourself today, you deserve too."
Zina wasn't just my wife but she became my best friend over these past few short months we've known each other. We met through her dad who happens to be my connects down in Miami, yes I got involved with the drug business during my absence. Things at the club was going down hill, I almost had to close down Enigma in Orlando because I was doing everything by myself and I really didn't trust nobody else besides my brother. Zina's dad took my offer and made some shit happen for me, now we're business partners. I own half of his business, and he owns half of mines, which also brings me to the real reason behind our marriage. I didn't have a choice, her dad told me marrying his daughter was a way for me to pay him back. He told me how he couldn't handle her being in his home any longer, it was becoming to risky and after getting to know her I instantly fell in love. Zina was from Cuba by way of Miami, she had her struggles like everybody else did but she was a good girl who only wanted to be appreciated and treated with care. I just wish Maci could get to see the loving and caring side of her before she judged her.
She couldn't have kids because at the age of fourteen she was raped by one of her fathers workers, she didn't tell her father what happened because she was terrified. He threatened to kill her if she told anyone, a few weeks later she realized the changes in her body, that's when she found out she was pregnant. A friend at her school gave her some kind of home remedy and instead of going to a clinic she listened to this friend. She did had an abortion but strangely the fetus never came out which made her sick. One of the maids found the bloody sheets, and the bloody towels, and then her, passed out on the bathroom floor in a pool of blood. They called the ambulance and rushed her to the hospital where they had to perform numerous surgeries. She lost both fallopian tubes, a lot of blood and the doctors told her that she won't ever be able to conceive. Once her dad found out everything they killed the man that raped her, leaving his chopped up body in front of his family's door step.
