"So, how are you?" I asked my husband. He was currently wiping those dust away from the cabinets, sabay kuha na rin ng mga damit na nasa loob. Ako naman ang taga-tupi. I decided to do that first before anything else.

"Ayun nga, medyo maraming ginagawa. Kaliwa't kanan ang gustong mag-invest sa corporation kaya kaliwa't kanan din ang meetings and outings, those things you know." He opened up. "Kaya ayun, nakakapagod rin. Ngayon nga lang ulit ako nakapagtravel na ako lang mag-isa at walang iniisip kundi ang makasama ka." he flashed a smile at me.

"Wow, rhymes." I jolted. "How did you manage to 'escape' from your work then?" natatawa kong sabi. I just chose a playful word, oh my god that's so not me.

"Trina. You knew how much she loves you." Jusko naman, batang yun talaga. "She was kind enough to cover things for me kasi gusto ka niyang mapasaya." Wow. Did I mention na ang pinsan ni Ogie na dating julalay lang, e vice president na ng kompanya? Well, I didn't know what exactly happened in the last three years but I think she gained my husband's trust.

"I miss that girl so much, too."

"Punta ka sa office once you land from the airport." Umiling ito sa'kin at nagwika. "You'll be surprised."

I raised a brow. "Baka may pakulo ka na naman? Ewan ko sa'yo Ogie. Sobrang creative mo na talaga to the point na nakakadiabetes na." I let out a subtle laugh.

"Just what I said earlier, I'm full of surprises love." he then winked at me. "Kidding aside, masusurpresa ka nga talaga."

"Akala mo naman may nabago sa opisina niya." I murmured. "Ano naman ang dapat kong abangan, ha?"

"Well...let's see." tipid nitong sagot. He provoked me now he's not saying anything about it. So unfair! Hinayaan ko nalang kaysa magmaktol pa ako dito na parang bata.

I was about to get out on the room when he spoke. "O, san ka pupunta? Do you need anything? I can do it for you. Stay still and sit on the bed please."

I cackled. "Alam mo, dami mong satsat. Over-protective? Iinom lang ako ng tubig, hahahaha!"

He sighed. "Akala ko san na punta mo e. Please be careful starting today, alam mo namang may dinadala ka." he said.

"Parang hindi ko naman alam yung mga ganun." lumapit ako sa kanya, cupped his face and spoke. "Did you already forget you're talking to a doctor?" I let out a chuckle.

He just smiled at me. "I may not have a spot on your platform right now but I am your husband, and I love you so much." He gave me a peck on the lips.

"I love you."

"Siguraduhin mo lang, nako."

"I'm yours."

He cuddled me like there's no tomorrow at hindi na nito napigilan ang sarili carried me bridal style, making me lay down on my bed. He was on top of me and God knows how I attacked those lips of his. He also kissed me back, his hands travelling every corner in my body. Damn, I miss him. I miss his hugs, his kisses, his soft warm touch—everything about him.

I parted our lips, heavily panting and breathing. "I hate to admit but we must stop now." natatawa kong sabi. "Baka kung san pa mapunta tong ginagawa na'tin. I don't wanna risk anything."

"I know. Last nalang talaga." He kissed me like it's the last time until he removed himself on top of me and layed beside me. Natatawa naman ako sa ginawa niya, gigil na gigil siyang makasama ako e.
