"Regine."

That voice again. Damn it!

"Hindi pa tayo tapos mag-usap, wag mo akong tali-talikuran!" singhal nito sa'kin.

I turned around to face her. "What? After you freaking lost my appetite for the second time around, ano pa ba ang gusto mong sabihin?" matigas kong sabi. What the hell does she want from me? Pineste na niya ako kanina at umalis na ako para sa kalayaan niya, tapoe ngayon sinusundan na naman niya ako? Leche.

"I just want to...ask something?" she sweetly said. The nerve! Naknamplastic!

Sinabayan ko naman siya sa kahibangan niya. "What is it, Untamed Monstress?" I sweetly said back. Nakita ko namang nakayukom ang kamay niya nang sinambit ko iyon but she kept her position.

"I don't know how to start this but..." she trailed off. "Did you, perhaps, saw something strange around the hospital?"

Naguluhan naman ako sa tanong niya. "What do you mean? Hindi kita maintindihan."

She was trying to express herself but I guess she can't find the right words to say and ended up sighing. "Fine. Nevermind. May meeting mamayang 5pm. Yun lang ang gusto kong sabihin maliban na sa pampepeste ko sayo." then she walked away.

Uh...she didn't use her annoying tone.

Hindi na ako bumalik sa canteen. Bitbit ang nilapag ni Zsazsa kanina na envelope, naglakad ako papuntang opisina. I should start reviewing these cases now para may supervision na ako and probably next week pagkatapos kong mag-assess ng history, I can do my rounds and note my observations already.

"Reg." someone called me.

Napangiti naman ako sa nakita ko. "Oh Robs. Why? Do you need something? Iniwan mo ba sila Pops dun?"

"Ayos ka lang?" he asked me seriously. "I mean, I really don't know kung anong baho ng babaeng yun, just now actually. It didn't hurt that much, isn't it?"

Kumunot naman ang noo ko. "You're weird. I'm okay. We're okay." I said pertaining to my baby down there.

"Sino ba yun? Makapang-judge kala mo kilalang kilala ka ah. Sobrang harsh niya. May galit ba sa'yo yun? Ayaw niya ba sa'yo?" Robin asked me.

"She's holding a grudge on me. Highschool thingy. The ultimate bitch." Maiksi kong tugon. "Ewan ko ba sa kanya. Problema na niya yun."

"Tell me if she attacks you again."

"Kaya ko naman ang sarili ko."

"What if yung baby na yung aatakihin niya, ha?"

I stopped in a moment. Tama nga siya, what if idadamay na niya tong bata sa kahibangan niya sa'kin. It may sound overreacted but we can't erase the possibility na pwede niya akong pagtangkaan. There's also a part of me  that believes na she don't know about my pregnancy, but knowing Zsazsa, sure na sure na alam niya ang lahat ng nangyayari sa paligid niya. She never misses a single point.

I sighed. "Fine."

"Good." he said. "Ay, bago ko makalimutan, may meeting mamayang 5."

"Yes, Zsazsa relayed the message to me." I rolled my eyes sarcastically. "Buti naman no, pagkatapos nun uwian na. Pagod na ko, gusto ko na matulog."

"I was about to invite you to dinner." he sadly said. "Ipapakilala kita sa parents ko, ganun."

Nabigla naman ako sa sinabi niya. "Gago ka ba? Are you even using youe head? Magdadala ka ng kasadong buntis sa dinner ng pamilya niyo? You're really shameless."
