5pm.

Papunta na ako sa stylist shoppe na dinaanan namin ni Robin kahapon. Nagpasukat lang ako and they checked out what gown would I be wearing for the night. Actually...hindi alam ni Ogie na pupunta ako. Well, alam niya na eligible na akong pumunta but I never made sure and made clear to him that I will really go there. That's just as far as I remember.

I'm just alone, busy rin kasi si Robin. I hope he can tag along with us later. I'm beyond thankful for that man, jusko, hindi ko alam ang mangyayari sa'kin kapag hindi niya ako sinalba nung isang araw. I looked like a woman who really needs everyone's saving the whole freaking time. Awful to hear but I guess I'm pretty guilty about it.

"Angge, punta ka mamaya ha?" aya ko sa kanya.

"Hindi ba nakakahiya dun Ate Reg?" malumanay na sabi nito. "Saka...baka ako lang yung left out dun e. Ang gagara kaya ng mga magiging bisita ni Kuya."

I jested a laugh. "Much more than a pregnant woman flaunting herself. Sige na, please? Ang dami mo nang ginawa para sa'kin, para sa'ming dalawa. You should be there."

"Uhm...sige po. Titignan ko po kung makakahabol kasi birthday rin kasi ng pamangkin ko. Salamat po Ate." he smiled at me before going into the hospital. Ako naman ay palabas na naglakad at pumara ng taxi.

Mabilis akong nakarating sa lugar na iyon. Malapit lang naman sa ospital at hindi rin kalayuan sa venue ng party. Really, Robin has good taste. I bet his stylists for tonight's event came here also. Mas special nga lang siya. Wait, I haven't seen him all day. San kaya nagsusuot yung taong yun? Ay nako.

"Good afternoon Ma'am." bati sa'kin nung guard na nagbukas ng pintuan. I smiled at him and went directly to the receptionist's desk.

"Sino po sila?" Napaangat ng tingin ang babae and she instantly knew me. "Ay, Ma'am." I simply smiled at her and inquired about my whereabouts.

"This way po." she got out on her corner and started following her around. I just found ourselves in a grand ballroom with gowns and mini tables for making ourselves glam. Sobrang luwag and wala namang ibang tao sa loob ng silid na iyon. It was filled with lights and fancy chandeliers above it. The staffs and stylists were busy preparing and arranging their needs. Sabay sabay silang lumingon sa direksyon namin nang marinig nilang bumukas ang pinto. Their jaws dropped for no reason. I gave them a hesitant smile instead. Ba't naman sila nakaganyan?

"Ganyan rin yung reaksyon namin nung nakita namin si Ma'am for the first time." pambabara ng babae sa mga tao sa loob. "Eto na po maam. These are the people who will take care of you for tonight. A limo will be waiting for you outside once you're done. Libre na po iyon since malapit lang naman dito ang venue."

"Thank you." I jested. She took a bow and went out of the room. Iniwan niya lang ako dito nang mag-isa kasama ang mga ipinagbilin sa'kin.

Binitawan ko na ang bag ko at inilagay sa bench. I walked past them and sat down on their glam chair. I looked at my face on the mirror, shining brightly by the white clear lights written on my face. I smiled and yes, I still look the same. Much more lovelier than before. Mas blooming than the last two years. Medyo nangangapa pa rin ang eyebags but my whitish-toned skin with my natural red rosy cheeks made them invisible in sight.
