"Good morning!" masiglang bati ng asawa ko sa'kin. I yawned and stretched my arms in return, slowly opening my eyes. Kinusot-kusot ko ang mga mata ko, leaving it half-open and turned around to see my husband beside me.

"Morning. Anong oras na ba?" Hindi ko rin maiwasang magtanong. I feel like it's already 10...aish. Naparami ata tulog ko? I dunno.

"It's still early. Seven." he said. He caressed my hair while eyes glued on me. He was smiling the whole time. Ang aga aga naglalambing tong asawa ko. I can also consider that since tatlong araw rin kaming hindi nagkita.

"I miss you." I uttered.

"Me either." he kissed the back of my hand. "Glad you're home."

"Mmm. Safe and sound." I half-smiled at his gesture. Ngumiti rin ito at siniksik ang ulo niya sa leeg ko. I can hear his whimpers and groans of loneliness.

"Namiss kita. Sobra." he raised his chin up and gave me a short, passionate kiss. Ano ba yaaaan, ang aga aga nagnanakaw na ng halik! Aaaaaa!

"Don't you have work?" I asked him.

"Mamaya pa ako papasok. I finished all of my duties the last three days. I kept myself busy para hindi kita maisip." he replied.

Napanguso naman ako sa sama ng loob. "So you're diverting your attention to something just to forget about me? Is that it?"

"Oo. Para hindi kita maisip kasi sobrang miss na miss na miss na miss na kita. Natatakot ako baka hindi ako makagawa ni isang paperwork dahil lang dun. Baka rin mapatakbo ako ng St. Luke's at baka makidnap kita ng wala sa oras." he said, pouting. I just laughed at what he just said. Ang corny ng sinabi niya but well, electricity's getting into my nerves so freely.

"Ewan ko sa'yo." I rolled my eyes and laughed nonchalantly.

"Kilig ka naman." he said, teasingly. Argh.

"Pasalamat ka mahal kita." Sagot ko naman sa kanya. Namula naman ang pisngi nito. Eseshe, parang tanga tong asawa ko.

"I love you too?" he said with a pinch of hesitancy. We laughed together and again, just like magnets, our lips became one, swaying with each other rhythmically. He smiled in between kisses and once again spoke, "Sobrang ganda naman ng umaga ko. Why the hell am I so addicted to you at nakailang halik na'ko sa'yo?" 

"Leche ka rin minsan e no. Galing mo magpakilig." I said truthfully. He just laughed and already stood up from the bed. "Anong gusto mo? I'll cook."

"Talaga? No joke yan ah. Bawal na bawiin." pagbabanta ko sa kanya. He frantically nodded at my statement and started thinking what would we want for breakfast. We-me and my baby. "Hmm...gusto namin ng beef teriyaki tapos java rice. Tapos leche flan for dessert. Four seasons yung drinks dapat, ayoko ng tubig." may halong pagmamaktol kong sabi.

Slowly, his forehead creased at my statement. Halatang nagsisi sa sinabi niyang siya lahat ang magluluto. Hahahahaha!  He was looking at me intently, halatang nagmamakaawa na bawasan ko yung request kong medyo complicated lutuin. But my systems won't listen kaya sorry nalang tong asawa ko. Hehe. Gutom ako e, ba't ba?

"Ano? Surrender ka na?" natatawa kong sabi. "Ikaw ang magluluto ha. Hindi ako kakain pag hindi ikaw ang nagluto, sige ka." I fired at him.

He just sighed heavily. "Yes, ma'am."
