"Takaw." I heard someone say.

I am actually munching over my pansit bilao, dala naman kasi to ni Trina. She visited me just earlier and I immediately went to Lea and Pops' office to share this quite big pancit. E, nakatunganga lang tong dalawa sa'kin. I offered them to eat but they refused. Edi kinain ko na lang mag-isa, halos ubos na nga. Ang sarap e, ewan ko ba kung san niya to nabili. Matanong nga. Hihi.

I swallowed my nicely chewed food before speaking. "Ang O-OA niyo. Pumunta ako dito para i-share sa inyo to, kayo naman tong choosy at ayaw kumain. Tapos pagtatawanan at pagsasabihan niyo pa ako. Ako na nga tong concerned, inaaway niyo pa ako." I frowned.

"Hello, wala kaming sinabing hindi kami kakain! Ikaw kaya yung agad agad lumamon dyan, kumain ba naman na para bang wala nang bukas, pagbalik namin galing sa nurse station halos ubos na yung laman ng bilao! Ano pa bang kakainin namin, ha!?" Singhal sa'kin ni Pops. 

I realized that just now...hehe.

"Sorry." I smiled and peaced out. Lea just laughed and Pops rolled her eyes at me. "Nagugutom na talaga kasi ako e. Perfect timing talaga si Trina as always." 

"Sana naman hindi ka na nagpunta dito at sinolo mo nalang yang pansit." Lea jested a laugh. My consience was eating me up, but my hunger rose also capturing the guilt in me. Mas kumain pa ako nang sabihin niya ang mga katagang yun. 

After finishing the whole bilao, I let out a burp. A shameless one. Natawa naman si Lea at si Pops, just gave me a confused look. I, again, showed an apologetic face and put aside the empty bilao. Dadalhin ko nalang siguro yan pagbalik ko sa opisina. I'm planning to take that home too, sayang naman yung pinaghirapan ng gumawa niyan e.

"Pero gals..." 

"Oh?" sabay nilang sabi.

"Ogie's birthday is in two days." I said, sighing. "Ano bang magandang ibigay sa asawa ko? Nasa kanya na naman ata lahat e. Kaya niyang bilhin lahat ng gusto niya. He has all the things and the glory he could ask for. I can't think of something special and memorable to give him." 

"Birthday sex?"

"BDSM? Tapos siya in-charge?" 

Pinadiliman ko sila. What the hell are those suggestions? Ang dudumi talaga ng mga utak neto, jusko! Are they blind or what!? Can't they see I'm pregnant? "Tangina niyong dalawa."

"Kidding." sabi ni Lea. "Kahit ano naman siguro Reg, basta galing sa'yo special na. Most men will tell this one: that their woman's existence is already special itself. Kahit ano nalang sis. Also, make it look like it could be always remembered and handy. Para pagtingin o pagsuot niya sa gift na yun, ikaw talaga yung maaalala niya." 

"Arrrrgh." I frustratedly said. "I need suggestions! Specific suggestions, to be exact!" 

"Alam mo na yun." Pops concluded.

"Whatever. I shouldn't have told you kung wala naman pala kayong 'magandang' suggestion." pagdadabog ko.

"Don't you know your husband by now? Asawa mo yun kaya dapat kilala mo siya. Every. inch. of. him." Pops stated, at may balak pang dumagdag. "You know what kind of gift you wanna give him, nasa isip mo na yun e. Kung feeling mo na yun talaga yung dapat, then that should be. As long it came from the bottom of your heart, it is special."
