Kyung Mi's POV
Chen helped me off the motorcycle as he parked in front of my house. I subconsciously rubbed my wrist looking at the angry bruise. "Did you get your wrist checked out when you were at the hospital?" Chen asked breaking the silence. I nodded flexing my wrist. "Yeah, the doctor said it was just a sprain and that it should heal soon. Thanks for taking me home Chen". I thanked him. "It's no problem. Hey, take it easy on your hand a while. Icing it will help it heal faster". Chen said as he hopped on his motorcycle.
"Thanks for your concern. Hey, Chen can I ask a few questions?" I asked mostly because I was curious. Chen looked at me and nodded. "Sure ask away". He leaned on his handlebars looking up at me. I bit my lip figuring out how to ask. "By any chance you haven't seen my dog V have you?" I asked thinking to when we exchanged numbers. A sad look crossed his features before he shook his head. "No I haven't seen your dog yet. In my free time I look for her and ask people if they seen her, but it's the same result. What's the other question?"
Sadness fell harder on me as my dog was still missing. "I'll call when I find V or get information". Chen reassured. I nodded. "Will you call me when you find out how Kai is doing? It's because of me he's injured. Since I can't visit him I'm told to stay away from him". Guilt was going to eat away at me if I couldn't hear on Kai's condition. Chen bit his lip a sigh could be heard as he contemplated his answer.
"Since it seems you care for him, I will give you a call when I find out. But Kyung Mi, I must warn you that getting involved in this is dangerous. That car coming your way wasn't an accident. The people after Kai will now target you as well. Which means as friends of Kai's we'll protect you". Chen explained.
Why were people after Kai? And why do I need protected. "Why are people after Kai?" I asked growing more curious. Chen sighed. "I can't really explain right now. All I can say is that Kai is under the protection of Chanyeol's family. As for you Kyung Mi the nine of us will keep you safe and protected. I have to go. Chanyeol is probably freaking out. Take care of that hand. Goodnight Kyung Mi". Chen said as he started the bike driving off.
