Strawberries

Right in front of me he was. Sitting with the cute smile on his face on the big blanket.
"Sit down please" Payton said
I sat down and I could feel how hard I blushed.
The park was empty but it was in the middle of the day. The sun was shining and heating up the park.
Payton opened the basket. One by one he took things from the basket and put them on the blanket. Last but not least he took two plates out.
The blanked was full of all my favorite delicacies and foods. American pancakes. Strawberries dipped in chocolate. Light coffee. Orange juice. Croissants, and croissants with chocolate filling. There was also baguettes, some Reece's and sour patch kids. There was meatballs with tomato sauce. That's that. Oh wait there was some Oreos too.
"Wow. Payton. This is really nice" I said
"I'm really glad you like it. I really am." He said as he smiled and blushed
I started eating the pancakes.
After we had eaten for a while Payton straighten his back and said:
"So there's this thing I really think you should know"
"Mhm. What?" I replied with my mouth full of strawberries.
"I... I really like you. Like really really like you. Like really reall-" I cut him off
"I really like you too" and blushed
"Wait. So did you know I like you?" He said
"Uhm yeah I kinda figured since you always blush when I'm around and I don't know. I just figured"
Payton got up on one knee
