Mean girls

Class started now and I was so exhausted just from decorating my locker but it's fine, it was totally worth it!
First lesson was PE class and i actually like this class. We said goodbye to Payton, Bonnie and I changed and walked into the "classroom". Today we were going to work in groups and do some yoga, I got in the same group as Bonnie and two other girls.
"Okay" I said "maybe we can do this position" I continues
The two other girls in our group started laughing at me
"What?" I said
"Well now all of a sudden you went from the quiet girl to the girl that actually talks, only because of your boyfriend, he is out of your league anyways" and laughed again.
I felt like saying something really nasty back at her but didn't want to go as low as her, I just couldn't help myself
"You know what, it's not my fault that you're so jealous because you're single, maybe if you stopped being such a bitch" I said and got shocked over what I said
Ashley just sat there shocked over what I just said.
"Let's begin then" I continued
We did some yoga and then the class was over.
"Hey y/n, what happened? Everyone is talking about what you said to Ashley" Payton said
"WHAT? She told me some nasty stuff, like "Payton is out of your league" and stuff, and I just couldn't take it"
