Chapter theme : Gives you hell - All American Rejects
I sighed in relief as soon as I entered the locker room. After gathering my things and changing my clothes, lumabas na ako upang magpaalam sa closing staff ng club.
"Grabe!
"No, ngayon lang kasi weekend. Bakit mo pa ako hinintay?" tanong ko.
"Malamang kasi nasa iyo ang susi!" she spat out sarcastically.
"No, I gave you your own set of keys earlier," I reminded her.
"Oh?" She blinked twice and then shook her head as if brushing off the thought. "Guess I was too drunk to remember. Tara, uwi na tayo."
Reika didn't seem drunk. Thoughtful.
She grabbed me by the arm and dragged me out of the club.
"Pilak!" Sawyer beamed seeing me with Reika.
"Diablo!" Haji yelled with spite, a complete opposite of Sawyer's reaction.
"Just ignore them, they're drunk as hell." Reika rolled her eyes and continued to drag me towards a black honda civic. She opened the passenger seat so I had no choice but to get in.
Despite being drunk, Haji and Sawyer got inside the car as well — Sawyer sat in the backseat with Reika and I while Haji sat in front next to Magno who positioned himself in the driver's seat.
Nababagot kong tanong.
"My name is Haji Kazemi. Remember the name that will defeat you," anito at naglabas ulit ng rosaryo mula sa bulsa niya.
"Haji Kazemi, I curse you with 10 years of bad luck," I announced with my usual serious and monotonous voice.
He gaped and shook his head. Poor idiot looked like a scared little kid.
