Hi, it's been a while. So um, what can I say... I've been busy concealing both studies and a part time job so I didn't have any free time to continue this (which made me frustrated because I do want to finish this story.) So in case anyone finds this new chapter I hope you will enjoy at least a little.

Never had Misono been so busy. Okay, maybe he was exagerating, he didn't have that much to do considering the other pairs helped a lot. But he couldn't stop imagining scenarios for his brother's upcoming birthday and it was nerve-wracking. He genuinely wanted it to be a perfect moment, so he made himself anxious. What's more, his (supposed to be) big brother had dragged him in god knew how many stores the day before and his body was still aching from running around so much. And also, organizing a party was strangely exhausting, especially when all of the 'organizers' had to be constantly kept in check. Well, he was the one who insisted on preparing everything, so he couldn't complain.

At least he could count on Mahiru for cooking, but when it came to other material stuff and preparations things instantly got messy. Mostly because he had to remind Hyde not to buy such a ridiculous amount of decorations,  Hugh not to pick them in such large sizes... and so on. Perhaps he was too much of a perfectionnist. Mikuni wouldn't care about those trivial details. Heck, he didn't look like he was thinking his and Jeje's trip through, either. Obviously, after understanding what his moronic brother had in mind, and since he knew Jeje wanted the same thing, he had initially meant to take care of this as well. But he had soon realized he'd better not to, as he had no experience in the matter and there was no way to tell whether his help would be welcome or not.

Still, there had to be something he could do, and when he requested more of Mahiru and Tetsu's help they were more than happy to oblige. Also, he didn't know if envy pair's common project (though they didn't know that themselves) was supposed to be a secret, but it was clear most of them had figured it out anyways. Well, they were going to exchange those gifts at a party they were all invited to, so they would have ended up knowing, he thought. Dealing with Lawless' complaints of  "I wanted to be the first to propose to my eve" was annoying, though.

And it wasn't the only annoying thing. Lily just wouldn't stay still. Like, Misono got he was happy for Jeje - and certainly Mikuni, too- but could he stop humming while waltzing in the room uninvited?

-"Oi, Lily. If you have energy to waste, then tell Dodo to get the car ready. We still have a bunch of chairs to bring at Sendagaya's place.

"I already did. He should be done by the time we come down the stairs." The vampire said, twirling around. Misono swore he looked more like a creep than usual.

-" And when were you planning to inform me?"

"I was about to but you asked first. Oh, there is something I forgot to mention, though."

"And that is?"

"Mrs Erina came by earlier to ask for Mikuni's location. It seems she wanted to apologize to him directly." Lily replied all too naturally.

Misono's brain paused.

-"...what?"

At Mikuni's shop, it was the opposite from what it was at the mansion. The pair was chilling on a couch, or to be precise, Mikuni was snuggling with Jeje who had his arm around his waist while half watching a cartoon on tv. He wasn't paying much attention to it, though, and turning it off wouldn't be a problem if not for the blonde's head resting all too comfortably on his shoulder. As if he could disturb his eve's peace, what an idea. Having nothing to do except for buying each other presents was quite nice. ... was what he could say now that he finally found said present, and it would appear Mikuni also thought about it a lot. When reuniting at the meeting point he  had looked dishelved, but it had soon been forgotten as they started eating. And after going home they had made another deal not to mention the gifts before the day.
