I don't really understand what he meant by that, mom. I'm confused and offended. What does he mean when he said I should hurt Dome first?
I can not call, mom. Dome will hear everything.
Pavel's Mom:
What Dome's dad wants to happen is really harsh but I do get where he is coming from, baby.
Picture this, Dome has never experienced falling in love, let alone with a man. I'm not saying this because you're my son, but what you are giving Dome is close to perfection. You're loving him without any hesitation and you are showing him everything your love has to offer. You're not perfect as a human, of course, but your love can surpass that.
I don't question Dome's love for you but his father, in a way, has a point. How sure are you that Dome is not simply getting carried away by your love? Does he really understand the dept of your love and does he feel the same way for you?
Pavel:
Shouldn't I figure that naturally? Let Dome discover that and eventually then let him decide on his own whether he truly loves me or not.
Given that Dome's father does have a point but isn't it unfair for both of us?
I love Dome, mom, and I know I'll never hurt him the way his father wants me to do.
Pavel's mom:
Oh now I know where this is going
That stubborn man, just like your dad really
Pavel:
Just like dad?
Pavel's mom:
I can never explain why his father's mind works that way but all I say is that he is as stubborn as your father
Just think of it this way, my son
You are ready to marry Dome anytime now. You love Dome too much and I believe that you are soulmates, destined if you will. I support all your decisions with Dome because I truly love you both
But when it comes to his dad, it's hard letting go of his first born for marriage
So...
Pavel:
So, I should do whatever he wants just to prove myself and reach his standards?
Pavel's mom:
Everything's going to be okay, trust me, you will prove yourself
